A little while later, when Soobin feels how Yeonjun has seemingly calmed down significantly from the way he was before, they pull apart from their hug and Soobin gives him a small smile before Yeonjun clears his throat and simply leaves.
Soobin follows him outside the room and back down to the prison area they came from, now helping Taehyun with opening all the prison cells and getting everyone out who is being held captive.
Taehyun and his little army lead everyone out as soon as they are freed and their manacles, if there, have been broken as well. This takes them a little while to do, but sooner than expected and with Yeonjun receiving many bows and thanks from his people, as well as Taehyun getting big thanks from everyone as well, the prisoners are out soon and the three friends stay back.
Yeonjun pulls Taehyun into a proper hug this time, holding him extra tight as he has missed him so much while he was in there. Taehyun returns the gesture and holds the prince just as tight, so very happy to know he is actually alright. Soobin is standing next to them with a smile, waiting for them to just finish their hugging until it would finally be his turn to hug Taehyun.
"Thank you.", Yeonjun just whispers, quiet enough so Soobin would not hear. Taehyun pulls back from the hug and gives him a soft smile, the other already understanding him without any extra words.
Then Taehyun moves on to Soobin and hugs him as well, the other smiling brightly and thanking him over and over again for coming back and getting them out of the prison.
"How did you even find all those people?", Soobin then asks as they pull apart again.
"Well, when you were not at the meeting point, so I went back to Kai and Jeongin and they sent me out to different parts of the kingdom to find any remaining people who would be ready to fight alongside me to free the prince. People knew other people and rather soon, this little army was built.", he explains and Soobin nods, him and Yeonjun following Taehyun out of the prison wing and finally the entire estate.
Just before they step out of the building, Yeonjun holds Soobin back by his wrist, the other turning around to face the prince with a confused expression.
"Your clothes.", Yeonjun just says and Soobin looks down on himself for a moment, still rather confused about the prince's behavior. He does not understand and Yeonjun realizes rather easily that he does not, rolling his eyes and snapping his fingers right then to magically clean both of them instantly.
He looks at him for a moment before his hands move up to cup his ears and only a second after that, Soobin is standing in front of the prince with a set of elven ears. Yeonjun gulps at the sight, but gets a little annoyed again as well.
He firmly pats the human's shoulder and gives Soobin a sarcastic smile, walks past him and breathes in the fresh air of the creepy magic forest. Sure, this is not necessarily the best kind of fresh air one can get, but Yeonjun happily accepts this. This is so much better than anything down in that prison cell.
And Soobin's eyes just stay locked on the prince as he follows him outside. They stay locked on the prince, whose previously dirty clothes are now clean and completely white. They stay locked on the prince, whose face looks so much prettier already now that he is out in the open like this.
He did not even know that being even prettier than his previous state was even possible. The prince is simply gorgeous, totally making Soobin wonder if this is just a general elf thing or a prince thing instead. Maybe it is the combination of both? No matter what though, it is working and Yeonjun truly is a sight.
The various different creatures from the army and the prison cells all bow down to their prince and Yeonjun feels touched deep inside from the gesture. He had feared so much before that his people might have given up on him after his parents vanished, Beomgyu was attacked and Yeonjun was taken away.
