"Who are you voting for?" Misaki asks as he sits down by the table in front of Kei and Raiden. It's about the rankings, which means Raiden's interest is already dropping.

Raiden has once again gone against the norms like he has done for almost three weeks now and sat down with his friends - even though the subject they talk about isn't always to his liking. It's been a bit less than a month since he moved into Seki's house on the weekdays and visited his father on the weekends.

It has been... working out, he supposes?

He barely sees Seki, just as he intended. It's only when the elder comes to greet him when he returns from school that they have an interaction. It's annoying, but Raiden can overcome it. At least for now.

But every single day, Seki comes out the door and smiles softly at the younger. He asks about his day and even if he doesn't get a reply, he shows up the next day in the hopes of Raiden's attention.

It might be annoying and even seem like naive behavior from the elder, but if Raiden lets him do it, there's a bigger chance Seki will leave him alone for the rest of the day. Since the elder man tried to give him a gift about two weeks ago, he has stopped coming to Raiden's room. The younger is grateful for that much since he's finally starting to settle with this way of living.

He won't forget the reason he's there in the first place, so he's not going soft for the supreme, even though Seki is being nothing but nice to him.

At least, that's what he keeps trying to convince himself of.

"Maybe Ichika?" Kei says and Misaki immediately rolls his eyes, "Why did I even ask? You always vote for her."

Raiden remembers that Kei has talked about this female supreme before and he believes she's in the top 10, but not the top 3. As mentioned before, he doesn't really keep track of the ranking systems. But maybe now he has to, considering he's living with a supreme.

He wonders if Seki is even in the rankings. Probably not.

He's about the same build and size as Raiden which is normal for humans but compared to supremes, Seki is actually rather small. Most supremes are at least above 195 cm, but Seki can't be more than 180 cm whereas Raiden is about 183 cm.

"I am gonna vote for Botan to become second again," Misaki says and gets a dreamy look in his eyes, "Just for his biceps."

Kei rolls his eyes and Raiden just lifts his eyebrow slightly in confusion.

"He's an asshole..." Kei mumbles, but the youngest of them doesn't seem to mind one bit. Actually, he has a tendency to go for red flags which is a red flag in itself. But it's probably more wishful thinking of a man who can put him in his place. In reality, he would never go for someone as problematic as Botan.

"A little arrogance never hurt anyone," Misaki says, "Plus, his powers are awesome! He literally has everyone's favorite - fire ~"

Oh, now Raiden remembers. Misaki voted for this guy last time as well, so Raiden might have caught a glimpse of him.

"Asahi has done well too, but I think I will win a lot of money from voting on Botan this time," Misaki adds. He explains that Asahi is number 2 right now, but the polls believe he's gonna go down to number three next month when the voting begins.

Raiden thinks for a little. If he recalls correctly, Misaki also voted for Botan getting second last time and ended up losing money because Asahi got second. But... why wouldn't they go for number 1?

"Aren't you voting for him to be number 1? Since he's so good?"

The question is fair, at least if you ask Raiden, but the look of utter disbelief that settles on Misaki's face and the lift of Kei's eyebrows clearly tells him that that's not the case for everyone else.
