Raiden is sitting with a hand over his stomach, leaning back completely in the chair as he lets out a deep sigh. Haru had made some delicious food for him, so he might have eaten a little too much.

Even though he's about to explode right now, it was totally worth it.

"So," Haru begins as he drags his fork around in some of his leftovers, "How are you doing?"

Raiden came back yesterday and just spend the entire evening with his dad, where they watched movies and enjoyed lots of snacks. It was nice to be home, almost as if everything was like it used to be.

Unfortunately, that's not the case and Haru can't help but ask the same question every weekend. How are you doing?

How is Raiden doing? It's hard to tell and he has an even harder time putting it into words.

"I'm fine..." he settles on saying, even though that's not even close to the stream of thoughts running through his head. Still, he doesn't want to worry Haru more than necessary, but unfortunately for him, his father can see right through him.

"Raiden..." he mumbles, placing the fork down, "I... want you to try and give Seki a chance."

Okay, of everything that could have come out of his father's mouth, this was the last thing Raiden expected it to be. He looks at the elder man in utter disbelief and lifts an eyebrow to underline his confusion.

"Excuse me... what?"

Haru sighs a little, clearly expecting a reaction like that, "I spoke with him when you were sick and I... truly believe that he created the pact by accident. Even when you passed out at the Palace square, he tried over and over again to undo the pact..."

Raiden now gets an angry expression on his face. Haru is one of the only people Raiden desperately needs to be on his side, and now he wants him to create a bond with that prick? Impossible.

"Why the hell would that convince me?" Raiden raises his voice a little, "Why is everyone suddenly on his side?"

It was just like what Misaki said too... it doesn't make any sense, why would everyone want Raiden to forgive Seki? Did... did Seki really try to undo the pact? But he could just have gone back in time... just for a second right? What harm could that have possibly done? So why didn't he succeed, if it's true he did try to retract it?

"I'm not taking his side Raiden," Haru sighs and scratches his neck a little, "But the only way you will get better is if you deal with the problem that's making you boil with all these emotions. And since you can't escape him, why not try to give him a chance?"

Raiden looks down at the table and can't seem to find a reply.

Give him a chance? Do they want him to get Stockholm syndrome? He doesn't want to do anything that might please Seki, that would feel like he gave up fighting after all this time. He's too stubborn for that.

"He has listened to your requests Raiden, don't you think he has proven enough?" Haru asks, "Don't everyone deserve another chance? Have you ever asked him why he created the pact in the first place? Maybe there's something you are not aware of..."

"He still did it without my consent, why should I forgive him for whatever reason it might be?" Raiden spits out and furrows his eyebrows together. This is giving him a headache.

"He may be a supreme, but they make mistakes too Rai," his father states and reaches over the table to place his hand on top of his son's, "You don't have to be friends with him just... acquaintances. I can't stand seeing your mood get worse and worse for every day that goes by."
