Raiden yawns as he lazily walks down the steps to the entrance of the mansion. It's Wednesday, but their teacher called in sick and therefore, Raiden is off today. He planned to go back home to Haru, but it seems his father has a lot to do today, so he probably won't make it home before evening.
So, Raiden has settled on just spending time at the house.
Yua isn't here and Raiden hasn't seen Seki either. But when he thinks about it, he doesn't believe Seki has any job or needs to show up anywhere, so he's probably somewhere in the house.
Raiden has been a little angry at himself for backing out of Shiro's offer to learn more about the supreme, but at least it saved him a bit of his sanity. The male lazily makes it to the kitchen and opens the fridge. He has gotten pretty familiar with this place, and Yua explained to him that he's free to take whatever he sees fit from the kitchen.
Today, there's a plate with some eggs, bacon, and sausages nicely prepared for him. It's wrapped in plastic with a note on it saying 'for Raiden'. The endear can't help but smile gratefully as he takes out the plate and heats it quickly.
His appetite has always been big, but somehow Yua's food seems to make it even bigger.
It doesn't take long before he has dug his way through the food and is sitting slumped against the chair. He's staring out the large glass windows before him, taking notice of how nice the weather is. Even though Raiden is very lazy today, he suddenly feels an extreme urge to go outside.
Maybe... Seki it outside?
Yua did mention that Seki liked the garden, so it's possible he would take advantage of such a nice day to spend outside.
Raiden lets this be his motivation to stand up, clear his plate, and walk towards the common room that leads outside. He can't help but glance slightly at all the books that they discussed yesterday, but he decides to let them be. There are probably not many of them he will be able to understand, no matter how desperately he wants to.
The large windows are here too, which makes the house quite modern compared to the inner architecture. Raiden looks outside in the garden. It's a huge space where there's an area filled with flowers and behind it a beautiful meadow. There aren't any houses or roads to disturb the calm air, but Raiden can't help but find it rather... lonely.
He steps outside the door and gently closes it behind him. He's met with a soft breeze and the sound of cicadas reminds Raiden that the end of summer is nearing. Still, the flowers are blooming and the birds have yet to travel towards warmer places.
Raiden studies some of the beautiful flowers as he makes his way through the large garden, filled with patches of different colored petals. He has never really been interested in flowers or anything garden-related to be honest, but he can appreciate a beautiful sight when he sees one.
And no matter how annoyed he is to admit it, another beautiful sight enters his vision soon enough. Seki is standing with his back straight while having his arm stretched into the air as he gently moves his hand around in circular motions. There are some glittering particles in the air that Seki seems to be controlling, but Raiden has never seen anything like it before.
He observes as he slowly makes his way closer to the male, but tries not to seem too interested. He still holds a grudge towards Seki after all, but now he's simply too curious about what the man is doing to be angry.
Seki's hand is slender and beautiful, yet the control of his movements makes him appear confident and strong in the way he controls his powers. It's fascinating.
"What are you doing?" Raiden asks as he's nearly up at Seki's side. The male hasn't turned to look at him, but he doesn't seem very surprised that Raiden is suddenly beside him either. Raiden has started to suspect that Seki knows where he is at all times, therefore he never appears surprised when Raiden shows up.
