"I'm going to cry."

"Seriously? It's just a suit..."

"No really, I mean look at you," Haru says as he pulls back a little, taking in the sight of his son. Raiden is, in fact, wearing a suit right now. It seems Seki managed to get a suit custom-made for him, which makes Raiden wonder how he got his precise measures.

But the supreme must have found out somehow because the suit fits Raiden like a glove. It makes his shoulders look broad, yet somehow manages to snatch his waist and give his body a cleaner cut than usual.

Raiden has never owned a suit, nevertheless worn one. This is probably why his father is almost crying, just looking at him right now. Haru is exaggerating, but he has never had the money to give Raiden outfits like this. So, he can't help but get emotional.

"My son is truly a blessing," Haru laughs as Raiden's cheeks turn bright red and he holds his hand in front of him.

"Don't say stuff like that, Dad... I just changed clothes," he sighs embarrassed, but can't help but return the smile. As Haru drags him into another hug, the door to his room suddenly opens. In comes Seki, who's wearing completely black clothes and has his hair pulled back in a lazy ponytail.

Apparently, his clothes will be given to him once they arrive at the castle. They have to wear traditional clothes given by the queen, so all anticipated top candidates will receive a personalized outfit from the royal family. As a gift, apparently. So, Seki's just wearing some spare clothes right now.

The supreme smiles fondly as he sees Raiden in Haru's tight embrace, looking absolutely gorgeous. Well, in Seki's eyes, he looks good no matter what he wears. Seki even convinced Raiden to let him set his hair, which took no more than a sweep with his hand and then Raiden's hair was pushed back perfectly.

Raiden doesn't know what telekinetic power Seki used to do that, but he doesn't complain. He can't remember the last time he wore his hair like this. Actually, he must agree with his father... he does look very different, and even better than usual.

Therefore, a tiny tiny bit of Raiden can't help but shake a little with a feeling he can't describe, as his father lets him go and Seki is now allowed to get a better look at him.

The supreme's eyes run him up and down quickly, before one side of his mouth lifts.

"You look amazing, Raiden," Seki says softly.

Oh god, what the fuck.

Raiden almost gets angry at the sensation that suddenly settles in his chest, as if he's happy to hear Seki compliment his looks. He wants to throw up simply from having thought such things could flatter him, but nothing happens.

His eyes simply stare back at Seki's beautiful face, which has an expression full of honesty and excitement. Raiden doesn't think this man is lying one bit about what he's saying, which is still hard for him to understand.

"Uhm, thanks..." Raiden mumbles, even though it took him surprisingly long to realize he had to reply. He quickly turns back to face his father, trying to hide the honey glow in his cheeks. But he doesn't manage to hide this from his father, who just smiles as he looks up at his son.

No matter how much horrible stuff they have been through in the last few months, Haru is glad to see that his son took his advice and is doing better. The elder man slowly lifts his hand and places it against Raiden's cheek, before rubbing his thumb back and forth a little.

"You do indeed look amazing, Raiden," the man states, "But you guys will be late if we stay here any longer."

Indeed, it won't be long before the ceremony begins and the supremes will receive their ranks. Only after that will there be served food. So, they have to be there early so Seki can change into his clothes and receive his ranking.
