Ruby, Ren, and I were cooking at the stove, Jaune was setting up the table, and Nora was cutting carrots, occasionally eating slices. Ren spoke up and said, "Alright, the first batch is just about done." Ruby replied, "Awesome! Now we just need Qrow and we'll be all set." While still eating carrots, Nora said, "Do you really think he's gonna bring that many people? This is a lot of food." Ruby answered and said, "Uh, I don't know, but it sounds like we could use all the help we can get." I smirked and said, "Ray and Bella said that they might not be here tonight because of the shop, but they'd be more than willing to help us defend Haven." We heard Qrow call from the other room as he said, "I'm back!" Ruby replied and said, "Be right there!" I looked at Ruby and said, "Petals, you're going to overcook that." Ruby retorted amd said, "No I'm not, shut up!" Qrow called from the other room once more and said, "Hey, uh, Ruby?"
"I'm coming!" Ruby called out in reply. Then some smoke started coming from the pan Ruby was cooking with. She groaned and said to me, "Fine! You take over." Ruby grabbed the tea tray and headed to the living room while Ren and I continued to cook.
3rd Person POV
Ruby looked at the tea tray as she entered the room and said, "So, we didn't know how many people were coming, so we just cooked all of it." She looked up, and gasped as she dropped the tea tray and its contents, which shattered on the floor. She stared in disbelief at the sight of not only Qrow, but of her older sister Yang and her teammate, Weiss. Yang approached her little sister. Ruby said, with her voice cracking, "Yang, I... I'm so sorry! I-I should've stayed, and I should've talked to you more! I'd─I just..." Tears started pouring from her eyes as Ruby said, "I wasn't sure if you wanted me around and─" Suddenly, her big sister gave her a strong hug. Ruby's lips quivered, and she looked toward her sister. Yang said, "I love you." Then tears streamed from her eyes as well. Ruby sobbed as she leans into her sister's hug and said, "I love you too."
Jaune, Ren and Nora entered the room, smiling at the sight of the two sisters embracing each other. Qrow smiled as well. Oscar entered the room and said, "Uh..." He looked up, seeing Ruby and Yang hugging, and smiled. Weiss smiled as she wiped a tear from her eye, before frowning while looking down. Then Ruby said, "Weiss." Weiss looked up, and saw the two sisters open their arms up for her. She smiled and eagerly joined them in their hug. Everyone smiled as they watched three of the four Team RWBY members embraced. When the three teammates pulled apart, Yang said, "So, sis. Where's that blue-haired boyfriend of yours?" Ruby chuckled lightly and said, "Actually, he's my fiancé now." Yang smiled and said, "Well, it's about time! Let me see the ring!" Ruby blushed lightly and showed her sister the engagement ring. Yang smiled and said, "Wow, that's beautiful. I'm so happy for you two. But back to my original question, where is he?" Ren smiled and answered, "Ace is finishing up the last of the cooking as we speak." Almost on que, Ace then called out from the kitchen, "Food's ready!"

Ace's POV
As dinner continued, Weiss told us her story about how she accidentally summoned a Boarbatusk during the Schnee charity ball. Ruby gasped and said, "You did not!" Weiss had her face in her hands and replied, "Yeah, right in the middle of the party." Yang said, "Please tell me you let that lady have it." Weiss replied, "Of course not! Even if I did really want to." Nora crossed her arms, skeptical, and said, "No way, I don't believe it." Weiss then summoned a Boarbatusk right next to Nora. The Grimm summon growled, causing Nora to yelp and fall out of her chair. Weiss, Yang, Jaune, Ren, and I all laughed.
As dinner nearly finishes, Yang showed off her robotic prosthetic arm to the rest of the us. All of us reacted in awe as Yang said, "It's not a replacement for the real thing, but I'll make sure to make good use of it." Jaune replied, "That's amazing." "Incredible," Ren added. I nodded and said, "It looks slightly similar to the technology that I used for ideas to design and create my hand. But your arm looks much simpler than my hand. But then again, your arm was created in Atlas, whereas I built my hand myself." Yang nodded and said, "True." Ruby got all starry-eyed and quickly zoomed over to her sister's side to admire her arm. She held Yang's arm up and asked, "And it's just as strong?" Yang replied, "Hm, sure is." Suddenly, I heard a bang on the table. Nora had her arm out ready to arm wrestle and she said, "Wanna bet?" Weiss said, "Nora, please, now's not the time..." Despite Weiss' protest, Yang and Nora arm wrestled. Jaune and Ren cheered on Nora while Ruby and I cheered on for her sister.
Just then, I heard a knock on the front door, so I got up to go answer it. When I opened the door, I was surprised by the sight of both Bella and Ray standing there. I smiled as I hugged them both and said, "You guys made it!" Ray smiled and said, "We decided that seeing some old friends was worth closing the shop early. But we did already eat." I smirked and said, "That's okay. We're all finishing up dinner anyways. Come on. Everyone's in the other room." We went over to the others and I said, "Hey, guys. Look who showed up!"
3rd Person POV
Everyone was overjoyed and greeted Ray and Bella as they sat down. Weiss looked at Bella as she sat down next to her and said, "Bella, it's so nice to see you. How have you been holding up?" She smiled and said, "I'm doing much better now. But I do have something that I want to give you." Weiss raised an eyebrow as she looked at Bella confused. Bella reached into her pocket and pulled out a familiar star badge.

Bella handed it to Weiss, who looked at it in shock and said, "But this is Mason's badge. Why are you giving it to me?" Bella smiled and said, "Because I know my brother had feelings for you. I know that he would want you to have it. Plus, with it, you'll always have him with you." Weiss smiled and said, "I don't know what to say. Thank you, Bella." She smiled and said, "You're welcome." The two girls then hugged.
