Bringing him home

Brooklyn's pov

Today's the day we get to bring Wally home and I can't wait for him to meet June and many more friends. Got up from the hospital bed and got dressed, Wally was still sleeping and we realized that we didn't have a carseat so Neal thought to call to Diana and ask her if she has a carseat we could borrow and luckily she did so she brought it to the hospital.

She got to our room and that's when she met Wally! She said "Brooke, he is adorable"

I smiled and said "Thanks Diana"

Later she left and I had to wake up Wally and no I didn't want to but it was time to go home, I got him dressed in this outfit that had mustaches all over it and the onesie said mommy's new man. It was adorable.

Got him all dressed and he wasn't having none of it. Anyway so we got him into the carseat and then I was trying to walk out of the room to the car but a nurse said that I had to use a wheelchair instead but I was like "I'm fine, I can walk"

I wasn't gonna use it but then I saw Neal's face and it was like he was telling me to just do it, for him.

I sighed and said "Ok fine! I'll do it for you but only you"

So I sat down in the wheelchair and Neal wheeled me out to the car, he got Wally's carseat into the car and then I got up and got into the passenger seat. We drove all the way back to the apartment and when we got there we walked inside and June was standing there smiling, waiting to see him and I walked up to her and when she saw Wally she told me how cute he was and all I did was smile. 

After her and Wally met we walked upstairs and I started feel tired so I laid down on the couch and later lunch came around, woke up from my nap and I saw Neal cooking in the kitchen. I got up and walked over to him and asked "What's for lunch?"

He said "Your favorite!"

I smiled and said "So, you forgive me? Or is it because I had a baby?"

He said "It's because I forgive you Brooke!"

I smiled and said "Good cause I really am sorry for what I did and I did go to the store and bought you a new one but of course that is when my water broke so I never got to give it to you"

I went over to the bag and pulled out Wally the walrus and said "I know you might not want this cause it's not your old one but please just take it and I'll even make it look old just for you so it looks like you had it forever, I love you Neal!"

Even though he was cooking I went up behind him and hugged him, I am so glad I have a brother who loves me. He then went over to some celery and started cutting it and I just watched as he did it, the food is going to be so good!

I then said "I don't think I know how to cut veggies, can you show me?"

He said "Yeah sure"

So he stood behind me and helped me cut it and it was actually fun.

After we cut this I was feeling a bit tired so he finished making lunch and I sat down at the table and rested. A few minutes later lunch was done and so he put it on plates and we ate! It tasted so good and it was the best thing I have ever had, I mean it is my favorite thing. After Lunch I picked up Wally and sat down on the couch and he did join me after he finished washing dishes, he sat down next to me and

He says "I just realized I never got a chance to say thank you for getting me Wally back I mean my stuffed animal cause that's when your water broke but thank you little sis" after that Neal then plays peak a boo with baby Wally.

Of course Wally wasn't at that stage where he smiles but it was really cute to see Neal playing peak a boo, he already is a great Uncle!
