2 year old!

Brooklyn's pov

Wally is now two years old , today is his birthday!! I can't believe it's already been two years.  He's growing up so fast already! Neal and I are going to throw a little birthday party thing for him , We will probably invite Alex , Diana , and of course Moz.   Neal and I go to the bakery and he tells me to pick out a cake Iike for Wally so I finally find a really cute cake , it has all these cute little animals on it ,it's perfect!  Neal then comes over to me and says "Did you find one?" I say "Yeah , this one it's really cute with all the animals , Wally's going to love it" 

I point to the cake and show him it , He smiles and says "Yeah that is perfect" he buys it for Wally then we go to the party store and we buy this adorable party hat for his birthday .  I then find a cute table cloth to put on the table , I then get distracted and I see this really cute Raccoon pinata so I put it in the cart then I see this really cute Walrus one and put it in the cart . Neal laughs and says "Please don't go as crazy with pinatas as you did with baby clothes" he laughed a little and shook his head while he said that I then said "don't worry , I won't I just got distracted for a second okay these too are just so cute I had to get them okay" Neal then says "Do we need anything else here? 

I have to think for a minute I then say "We need cups , and cute napkins , and cute plastic spoons and forks , oh and paper plates " 

I put them in the cart and then Neal said "Ok no more things, Brooke stop going all out! it's only a small party with our 3 friends and it's for my nephew, you don't need to go all out"

I said "I know and your right so let's just pay for this and go home so we can set up"

We went home and we started setting up. We put down the table cover and then we put out the plates, spoons and forks, cups and the cake and the pinatas.

Later it was time for the birthday boy to wake up from his nap and when he did I picked him up and carried him out into the kitchen area and there was a smile on his face. Soon everyone got here and we celebrated the birthday boy! 

At one point Neal put on a pair of like headphones and what he did next shocked us.

 I guess he got animal noises to come from speakers in the apartment and Wally was so happy, He really does have the best uncle! At one point Wally was playing and and running around when he hurt his ankle pretty bad so he started crying. I carefully set him down on the couch and I told him "Mommy's gonna go get something to wrap your ankle with and then you get to blow out your candles and eat cake, how does that sound?"

He did smile which was good. I went to get some wrap for his ankle and when I tried to wrap it he wasn't having it! He cried and cried and as I did this Neal held his hand which seemed to help him a little bit. 

After finally finishing wrapping his ankle I picked him up and sat him down onto a chair at the table and put the cake in front of him. I lit the candles and we all sang happy birthday, after that we had cake and gifts. I think he liked it! Later everyone left and Wally was crying again because I guess he touched his ankle and it of course hurt. 

I had to calm him down so I let him have a pacifier to suck on and that also helped a little. I did bring him to his room and made him rest which he didn't want to do but it was best. Every single tear broke my heart, I didn't want to see him sad anymore and I mean it was a pretty good day except for him hurting his ankle. Can't believe my baby boy is 2 years old!
