Chapter 15: Storytime with Kazu.

"Hahaha! That was hilarious!", you say laughing amused to Kazutora while you wipe a tear from your eyes from laughing so hard. "Hahaha! That face! After I asked him for a hug! Hahaha!"

"Yeah!", Kazutora says smiling to you brightly while he still holds your hand tightly. "So, can I get my kiss now?"

"Huh?", you say looking at him with wide eyes, taken off guard. "I'm not going to kiss you! ...yesterday was enough."

"Too bad~!", he chirps smiling brightly, letting go of your hand as he starts to walk away with his arms crossed behind his head leisurely.

You just scoff at him, before a small smile forms on your lips.

Suddenly Kazu stops and tilts his head backwards to look at you, grinning. "Hey, wanna go to the arcade?"

"Like I would go with someone like you, idiot... .", you say teasingly, pouting at him while you turn your head to the side. You sigh tiredly before you look at him grinning widely. "I'll come... !"

The two of you go to the arcade to play some games. You try the crane game again a few times, but still get nothing out of it. After an hour or so you ran out of cash again and Kazu 'organised' you some more. 

You gave him a disapproval look but shrugged it off unbothered after some time, enjoying the games with the 'organised' money nonetheless. 

After a few hours of playing, you leave together and go to the park to hang out a little more.

"It's getting late~... .", you mutter calmly, looking up at the sky while you sit on the swings boredly.

"Yeah... .", Kazutora says absentmindedly, looking down frowning. "So... . Could you tell me about my future too? I'm kinda' interested!"

You hum thinkingly, looking down frowning before you look to him sadly. "It's not the best future you know... . But we changed something big, solely because you won't join that damn gang."

"What did we change?", he asks curiously, glancing to you suspiciously.

"...it might have ended with you dead too.", you say sadly, looking down before you give Kazu a sad smile. "But that won't happen anymore, luckily!"

"What?!", he mutters shocked, standing up from the swings distressed. He grabs your shoulders and looks at you with wide eyes. "Why?! How?!"

"Do you really want to know? It's going to hurt you... .", you ask unsurely, looking up at him seriously.

He let go of your shoulders and sits down on the swing again. He keeps silent, seemingly thinking for a moment before he looks at you determined. "Tell me, please."

"...okay.", you say sadly, standing up slowly before you walk to him. You stop right in front of him and take one of his hands in your hand before you look up at him seriously. You take in a heavy breath and start to tell him what would have happened.

"You were the reason that Baji died. You stabbed him.", you say seriously as you see his eyes widen in shock. You hold his hand tighter and continue.

"The one that would have killed you is... . Mikey.", you say with a trembling voice, looking down frowning while a single tear escapes your eye. "A-And you had to go back to jail for ten years."

Kazutora froze for a moment before he holds his head and starts to tremble distressed.

"So... . You saved me too... .", he mumbles with a shaking voice, looking at you with an unreadable expression. "...why? ...why did I kill Baji?"

"You were manipulated by the guys from Walhalla... .", you say calmly, smiling warmly at him while squeezing his hand tightly. "It's okay Kazu. We changed the future! You will not kill someone again and you don't have to get back to jail. I'll make sure of that! I'll protect you!"
