Chapter 36: Time will tell.

"Hehe. Mikey. You know what... ?", you whisper weakly while you look him in the eyes, a bright smile on your lips. "I really love you."

You close your eyes and you conscious fades away.

Mikey's eyes widen before he looks at you in panic.

"Y/N? Hey?", he yells in panic, trying to shake you before he puts his hands back on your wound. "Y/N! Wake up!"

Right in that moment Baji comes back with the ambulance.

"She's unconscious!", Mitsuya yells agitated while Mikey still calls out to you in panic.

"Get out of the way!", one guy from the rescue service says while they make their way over to you.

But Mikey's not moving a millimetre until Baji comes and drags him away from you.

"What happened?", one guy from the rescue service asks while the other one is treating your injury.

"She got stabbed with a pocketknife.", Mitsuya explains anxiously.

"Okay. Since when is she unconscious?", the rescue service asks while he takes notes.

"She was talking to us just a moment ago.", Mitsuya says while he takes a quick glance at you.

"Where did she get the wound on her head?", the rescue service asks seriously.

"Uh... . I don't know.", Mitsuya answers unsurely. He glance around and spots Mikey beside Baji. He's looking at your unconscious body with slightly wide eyes. Mitsuya frowns before he walks over to him. "Mikey, do you know why Y/N has that wound on her head?"

"She was hit at her head earlier after someone strangled her.", Mikey says blankly, with no expression on his face. His gaze not leaving your body once.

Mitsuya frowns at Mikey's calm demadour before he gives his attention back to the rescue service.

"Okay. Thank you. That's all for now.", the rescue service says after hearing everything important.

Mitsuya just nods and walks over to the others while the ambulance service guys talk over you.

"She's only got a faint pulse. We have to get her to the hospital at ones!! She's still losing to much blood even after I bandaged everything.", one guy from the ambulance says sternly before they put your body on the stretcher.

"Good job with the first aid.", the other ambulance guy says before they rush back with you to the ambulance.

Mikey froze up after you were taken away. He still stands there trembling slightly while he looks at his shaking hands.

They are covered in blood.

Your blood.

He looks down emotionlessly before Baji shows up beside him and shoves his shirt into his hands ungently.

"Here. Keep calm. We have to get to the hospital now.", Baji says sternly before he walks away to his bike.

Mikey clutches the bloody fabric in his hands before he walks through the rain in silence.

You and Draken were brought together to the next hospital. While Draken's condition wasn't as dire after he got his head bandaged;

Yours was a big difference.

While you were in the ambulance you went into cardiac arrest once.

Hospital:

You were brought to the operation room at once while Draken got his head examined. He got some pain killers and his wounds got glued together.
