!! Important A/N at the end !!
"Thank you for the meal, Izana. It was really delicious.", you say, smiling softly at him.
He leans back in his seat, his eyes holding a spark of something you can't quite spot. "It was my pleasure."
"Then let me at least do the dishes.", you say sincerely, glancing back to Izana who shifts in his seat.
"No. You're here to learn. I'll do it and you play the chords.", he states, standing up. He gathered the dishes and made his way over to the kitchen while you just watch him uneasily.
"But Izana. You can't just do anything alone. I'm feeling bad now... .", you mutter slightly nervous as you follow him. You stop beside him, about to take the dishes when he grabs your wrist suddenly.
"Didn't you hear what I said?", he asks coldly, his intense gaze fixed on you.
You bite your lip and glance down. "I heard you."
"Then go and do what I told you to do, idiot.", he states before he releases your wrist. He ignores you and resumes to wash the dishes.
You heave a sigh and walk back to the guitar, feeling annoyed and uneasy. Did he have to say it like this? I just wanted to help... . Why is he like this.
Izana took care of the kitchen while you resumed your lesson. The sound of music fills the room again.
As the session ends, you meet Izana's eyes again and he smiles at you softly, to your surprise. "See. I knew you could play if you stay concentrated."
You look at him taken aback. "Uh... . Y-Yes.", you mumble flustered at his smile. He stares at you for a moment before he takes the guitar from you to place it back into the corner. "Thank you... ."
"You'll get better eventually. If you stay concentrated, that's all. You actually have potential Y/N.", Izana comments before he turns around to meet your eyes again.
Happy at his praise you smile at him brightly. "Hehe. Well, if you say that, then I'll try my best next time too. But I really have to go now. It's getting late... ."
Izana nods confirming and walks with you over to the door. "I'll take you back to Tokyo now."
You grab your black jacked and head out with Izana. He opens the front door and heavy rain pours outside. You hesitate, glancing at the storm unsurely. Please let it be just rain! Please let it be just rain! Please let it be just rain!
Izana studies you for a moment before speaking, his voice oddly soft. "The weather is terrible. I'll take you home this time."
"Huh? No! It's okay. You can just put me down in front of the cemetery again.", you protest in panic, rubbing your arms nervously.
He glances at you seriously. "It's not safe out there. Don't argue."
You heave an irritated sigh, realising he won't budge. "Alright..., but be careful. It's where Mikey and Emma live too, so you can't be seen, right?"
Izana's lips quirk up in amusement, and he pats your shoulder swiftly. "Don't worry.", he states before his gaze darkens. "I'm not interested in showing up at their radar."
You blush slightly at his action while he walks back into his apartment. "Let's go back inside for a moment, I didn't expect it to rain."
You're still flustered when you walk back into his living room. That's when he suddenly changes into a hoodie right there, and you blush intensely, completely embarrassed.
