Date: 16. August 2005, Tuesday
The next day begins and you're getting ready for school. The pain from yesterday is luckily gone again and you feel better. Well, when you aren't thinking of school. Fuck I'm nervous. I hope nothing happens today... . I want to stay home... .
You rub your arms nervously while you make your way over to the kitchen to join Mikey, Gramps, and Emma for breakfast.
You take your seat unsurely as you greet them with a faint smile. "Good morning." Mikey noticed your tone of voice and glances at you with furrowed brows. "You okay?"
"Yeah, I'm fine. Just a little nervous about school.", you mutter, giving him a reassuring smile. He nods while he stares at his plate blankly. "If those girls bother you again, just let me know."
"Yeah, we've got your back, Y/N!", Emma chimes in, shooting you a reassuring smile.
Your heart beats faster, happy at their support for you. I'm so lucky to have them around. You chuckle slightly, smiling at them warmly. "I'm so grateful for all of your support, really."
Draken joined you a few moments later and you walked to school together like always. You felt lighter and save. Mikey's presence beside you gave you strength and their protective aura eased your worries for now.
When you enter the school ground you feel many eyes on you, even more than normal. It's clear that the incident from yesterday made his round by now. Everyone is whispering while you walk past them to your classroom.
You enter the classroom and find a small notice in your desk. It is from Yukimura, and he wrote that he talked to the girls and that they won't bother you again.
You smile at the notice and calm down until the bitches walk into the classroom, they glance at you swiftly before taking their seat in silence. You feel tense and start to rub your arms nervously. Stay calm Y/N. Everything's alright.
The girls suddenly sink down in their seat with pale faces, sweat dripping down their forehead. You notice their untypical behaviour and shift your gaze over to Mikey, just to notice that he glares at them intensely.
Mikey eases up when he sees you looking at him. He smiles faintly at you before he speaks up, his voice holds a dangerous tone. "Are you sure those girls won't bother you again?"
You nod, meeting his gaze with determination. "I think so. Yukimura talked to them. And when you glare at them like this, they surely won't mess with me anymore."
"If they even think about causing trouble, they'll have to deal with us.", Mikey says darkly, his gaze firm before he glares to the girls again.
"Thank you, Mikey.", you say, a soft smile forming on your face, your earlier nervousness forgotten by now.
He grins to you brightly. "Don't mind it, Yurei-chin!", he beams before he lays his head on his arms to sleep.
You chuckle at him amused while the class begins. You immerse yourself in the lessons today, grateful for the distractions, just this once.
