Chapter 29: The bicycle

"I had to get you away from Mikey first. So, explain! Now!", she says excited looking at you with sparkling eyes.

"Huh? What?", you say confused, looking at her with wide eyes.

"What's going on with you and Mikey?!!", she asks agitated, grabbing your arms excited while she looks at you hopefully.

"...oh.", you mumble, glancing away shyly while a slight blush appears on your face. "Um... . N-Nothing... . Really... ."

"No, no, no, no! He nearly kissed you earlier! Well you denied it but whatever... . I saw how you two looked at each other! Tell me everything! What's going on?!", Emma asks agitated while she shakes you lightly.

"...well.", you mumble, glancing around nervously while you rub your arms shyly. "...I don't really know myself... . Yeah, he was kinda strange earlier. Saying stuff... . Um... . And yesterday we hugged again... . Um... . And I told him that I l-like him... . Um... ."

"You really like him??!!!", Emma yelps surprised, looking at you with wide eyes. You nod swiftly while your blush deepens. "...what the hell . ... ... ...does he like you too?"

"...I don't know.", you mutter embarrassed, glancing down while frowning a little. "But... . He hugged me yesterday so much... . So, maybe?"

"I can't believe it! You like him! And he might like you too! So, what are you now? Lovers?", she asks excited, a dreamy look on her face.

"...uhh. I don't think so... .", you mumble shyly, fidgeting with your fingers nervously while you glance down embarrassed. "We never talked about this... . I just told him yesterday that I like him. ...and I still have a boyfriend. Um... . I can't call myself his girlfriend or something like this if I still have my boyfriend. I could never do this... . I have to find him first and... . Well, you know... . It's so complicated now. I feel like I'm torn into two."

"Yeah. ... ... . I completely forgot that you have a boyfriend. I'm sorry. But. Aren't you betraying him like that? You know, telling someone else that you love him just like that. Don't you love him anymore?", Emma asks curiously.

"I still love him, that's for sure. ...like I said, I'm torn between them. ...but I'm here right now and I fell in love with Mikey. ...I really can't stop these feelings anymore. I dunno why... . I'm feeling so bad. We only know each other for a few days. But well... .", you explain flustered, blushing even harder while you try to hide you face with your hands.

"Yeah... . I understand what you mean. If you love someone you just can't think straight. And you might sometimes do things you might regret later on... .", Emma says dreamily, blushing a little while she thinks about you know who.

"Like you trying to lay Takemitchy?", you say giggling amused while you look at her teasingly.

"H-How do you know about that?", Emma says flustered, looking at you wide eyed.

"Ah! W-Well. Just heard about it here and there.", you mumble unsurely, glancing to the side while you rub your arm nervously.

"Really?! That's so embarrassing.", Emma mutters silently while she looks down frowning.

"Anyways. Thank you, Emma.", you say light hearted, glancing to her with a small smile on your face. "...for hearing me out like that. I was rumbling so much about my feelings... . Sorry."

"No prob! I'm on your side, whatever happens!", she says grinning widely before she takes a quick glance at her phone. "Oh shit! I'll have to go to the teacher's office now, see ya'!"

"Then I'll go back to class... . Bye~!", you say calmly, standing up before you go back to the classroom leisurely.
