Day in the arcade

We were all looking around trying to find out what to play

I then saw Pac-Man

I ran over and put some money in

"Can I play next?" Robin asked

"Sure!" I say

I start playing and ended up beating the ultimate high score

I was so happy

Pac-man was always my favorite so beating the high score was really cool

Robin and Gwen were rooting me on the whole time

It was really cute

Everyone else was playing other games

I eventually died and let Robin play

I looked over to the door and saw Vance walk in

*I didn't know Vance liked the arcade...*

I kept watching Robin play and he died almost immediately

It was kinda funny

We all kept playing different games

After a bit We got some food

We kept looking at games

We turned a corner and I saw Vance

On the pinball machine

He looked like he was really focused

"Hey Vance! Looks like your gonna beat your high score" a random kid beside him said

"Of course I am dumb shit, I said I would" Vance said

I walked a little closer and saw he was really close

All of a sudden the ball got stuck

Vance was thinking of what to do

But then some kid knocked into the machine and made the ball fall through the hole

Vance got angry fast!

He turned to the kid and grabbed him

"YOU MESSED UP MY GAME!" He said throwing him to the floor

He started beating the crap out of him

The lady at the front of the arcade called the police

And I didn't want to get involved

Not this time.

I little later the fight died down

The boys dad was here and yelling at the manager

And the cops had just shown up

I was watching from the wall

I played a couple games while waiting for the cops

Once they were there I went back to watch

They put Vance in handcuffs and took him out to a cop car

The other boy was taken to the hospital

I could sure use some fighting tips from Vance

"Well that was crazy!" Gwen said coming up next to me

"Yeah, tell me about it!" I say crossing my arms

It was around 2:30

We were all still a little hungry so we got nachos for everyone to share

We were sitting in a booth eating

My phone started ringing so I picked it up

It was my step-mom

I answered

"Hello?" I say

"Hi, Vance was arrested so we need you to come down to the sherrifs department" she said

Well shit.

"Why do I have to come?" I ask

"Your father asked you to" she said

I rolled my eyes

"Fine, I'll be there soon" I say sighing

I hang up and look at my friends

"I have to go" I say

"Why?" Finney asks

"They want me to go to the sherrifs department where Vance is" I say annoyed

"Alright, see you later" Robin said pulling me into a hug

Me and Billy head out

We get to the department after a little and see Vance there

"Hey" he says looking down

"Hey.." I say in a low voice

"Where's your mom?" I ask

"I don't know.. but there's something you should know" he says

"What?" I ask

"She only called you down here to ask you to pay to get me out of here" he said

"Are you kidding me!?" I say angry

"Unfortunatly.." he began to say

"My mom isn't who you think.. she isn't who she says she is!" He says

"It's best if you leave, before they get here and ask" he said

I looked at Billy who was looking ate with the same exprerion on his face

I look at Vance then turn to leave

But as we were walking toward the door we heard someone call our names

"Y/n, Billy! So glad you could make it" I stop in my tracks as I recognized that voice

I squint my eyes since we had been caught

I slowly turned around and looked at my dad and step-mom...
