The lady leaves and gets a room ready for the surgery.
Fernando was on his phone for a while and we didn't know why
We sat in the waiting room and waited for some news on the surgery room
The nurse finally came back after about 30 minutes
"Ok, we have a room for your fathers surgery. It will be here ready tomorrow if you want to come back tomorrow to be here for him." the nurse said
"Ok, thank you so much" Robin said relieved
"Yeah, thank you" I said, smiling at the nurse.
Robin grabs my hand and we start leaving the hospital
Fernando, me, Robin and Robins ant got in the car and went back to Robins house
It was dark now and past 11:00PM since we were waiting so long on the answer to the surgery room
We got back to Robins and me and Robin went up to his room.
I sat on Robins bed and got out my phone
I saw 4 messages and 2 missed calls from Billy.
It honestly broke my heart knowing how worried he was.
I decided to text back
"Hey! Please dont tell dad or Vance i sent this to you okay? I'm fine, ok! I'm at Robins and I just needed a break from dad... I need you to know this has nothing to do with you.. I just need some time okay? I hope you can understand".
I sent it and put my phone down
I layed back annoyed
"What's up?" Robin asks coming and laying down next to me
"Billy texted me... and I just answered." i say running my fingers through my hair
"Ahhh" Robin said
"Yeah... ahh" i say
"What'd you say?" He asked
"I just told him where I was, and not to tell my dad" I say sitting up then looking down
Robin sat up and put his arm around me
He pulled my head onto his shoulder
He looked at me and started playing with my hair
I look at him and smile
He pulls me closer and kisses me
I pull back and look into his eyes
He smiles at me and pulls me back in
We kiss for a while before someone knocks on the door
We both pull away
"Come in!" Robin says
The door opens, and Fernando walks in
"Dads in surgery" he says, leaning on the door frame
"Yeah? How long is it?" Robin asks
"Around 8 hours, they said" Fernando said
"Ok, so he'll be done in the morning?" Robin asked
"Yeah, we should get an update around 9:00AM" Fernando says
"Ok, let me know" Robin says as Fernando leaves, nodding his head
I lay my head back on Robin's shoulder and hug him
Robin hugs me back and kisses my head
It was getting pretty late so I layed down
Just as I did the doorbell rang
I got up and went to go downstairs curious as to who it was
Robins ant opened the door and I saw Billy
I was so thankful I didn't see my Step-mom or dad with him
He saw me and smiled
I smiled back and ran up to him
I gave him a big hug
I hadn't seen him in a couple days
I felt so bad for just leaving
Just then I saw a car door close right outside
It was Vance
I smile more and wave at him
Billy pulls away and I go to hug Vance
Everything just felt right
I felt like me and Vance were getting closer
I pull away and turn back around
"Robin, this is my step brother, and brother" I say pointing at them
"Cool, I'm Robin" he says introducing himself
"Yeah.. Robins my boyfriend" I say hesitantly
"Really?" Billy asks
"Yeah.." I say
"Ok, but if you hurt her ill kill you, you know?" Billy says to Robin
"Chill!" I say laughing a bit
"I know you Vance.. I saw you at the arcade, crazy ass fight" Robin said
"Thanks, I've seen you fight to Robin, you're not to bad" Vance said binding with Robin
It was honestly all I could ask for
It just made me feel so much better about all the crap that was going on.
It just made me feel happy again
Until I saw something I couldn't even begin to explain.
