This sort of thing had to happen every single time with them. Always getting captured and dragged into yet another life-or-death situation including dinosaurs and mentally unstable human beings. But this time for some reason it felt different, it didn't seem like there was something threatening them. It felt like they were needed for something useful or important, to say the least, but one thing didn't change, the intentions are never ever good. These feelings weren't straightforward forward they were uneasy and most likely not confident enough for the standards and beliefs these people had, so ist safe to assume won't be acted on.

After being drugged yet another time, Natalie woke slowly feeling tremendous pain in her head her eyes squinting, and having a hard time seeing. She touched her head while it felt like her surroundings were moving and spinning in circles. Natalie wasn't wrong after all, she crawled to the small fraction of light and noticed nothing but water in sight, suddenly she peaked her head out and let out vomit due to her sickness. She immediately dropped back into the cellar and stared at her passed-out partner.

Everett laid against the tiny cage they were placed into and was awakened by the frightened bellow of a juvenile Polacnthus calling for its mother that was separated in another transport. Everett squinted his eyes in pain only to notice wherever they were wasn't safe. He assisted himself up to take a closer look at the environment and due to the structure, he figured they were inside a cargo ship heading somewhere unknown.

Out of a sudden, a group of unknown peers wandered into the sector and started to cool the animals off with teasers, which obviously only caused them to stress even more. Natalie stood with the help of Everett as they observed the situation they caught themselves into. As soon as all the havoc caused by the unprofessional henchman was over, the injured dinosaurs went entirely silent and were neutralized, with muzzles and belts tied around the large builds.

"Where are we?" Natalie asked showing concern in her voice, looking out at the beautiful blueish sea and the waves.

Everett looked back at her and responded with the strength he had left after the punch in the gut that the sleeping drug is, "I'm not sure, but all I know is that the girls can't be safe and we have to find our way out to find them."

Sounds of high boots echoed through the silent and spacious space as a tall mercenary walked into the scene. It was a 30-year-old woman with strawberry-blonde hair and an intimidating look on her face. She had a scarf around her neck making it seem like she had something to do with prehistoric creatures. She began to count a very high amount of money as a man shorter than she approached said, "Rekao sam ti da je to sve.."

The woman scoffed and was seemingly mad at the man, "Ova vrsta vrijedi najmanje 20.000. Mora da me zezaš. Pokušavaš me prevariti."

The man spoke under his breath like a child confessing he did something wrong, "Točan iznos novca bit će vam uručen na kopnu."

"Dobro je znati. Otiđite sada." The woman said as the man ran out in fear, she walked to a gambling table and punched the wall, "Šupak."

Interigly enough, she was conventionally close to their imprisonment. Everett looked at Natalie for approval since they basically shared the same brain cell at this point, he then called to the woman using the knowledge he had, "Halo? Do you understand English? Samo hrvatski?"

She looked up at Everett and responded, "Not only Croatian, but English too, but my native language is Malti."

"Alright." Everett cleared his throat as he spoke, "Could you please tell us where exactly we are?"

"The Ionian Sea." The woman said, but Everett didn't quite seem to remember the exact location of such an ocean.

Natalie then crawled closer to Everett and simplified it done for him, "We're basically in the middle of Italy and Greece right now."

"Well, this is my partner Natalie and my names Everett." He spoke hesitantly, "What's yours?"

"Katerina Vella." She replied while rearranging a sequence of cards, "And I don't know why I just told two prisoners that."

"Because we need your help to get outta here." Everett just spilled it out not holding back, "Would you do that?"

"Yes, these men are playing me." She began to clarify her situation to the newfound allies, "I'm here for a reason and I also have to get out really fast, so I could use some hands."

"Great." Natalie said, "What are the stakes here?"

"A few raptor guards, actual human guards, and a classified creature in a level below." Katerina clarified the dangers to them, "So if you do as I say, we wait until we dock."

Everett gave her a nod of trust, now all they could hope for was the girls' safety wherever they were being taken to that's if they were being taken anywhere. Katerina still had her doubts about the couple but she felt like they were trustworthy enough due to the look she could notice in their eyes, honesty.
