Continuing their venture across the wilderness, the exploration team had finally discovered the reason why one of their recruits fell to his demise. Terror Birds were dominating the territory as they were most likely migrating, a behavior much speculated by scientists across the globe. But the news of not being able to capture two other environments and base points as they originally planned bummed the specialists down, perhaps the path awaiting ahead would enlighten their day, and perhaps even something new would pop up as this could either be very predictable but eventually unpredictable as these animals managed to outsmart humans several times, hopefully, this won't be the case, again.

Miserable from their failure, Waden was beginning to lose hope after all the effort he had made to make this mission possible, all the strings he had to pull and all the people he recruited had all meant nothing up until this point, he had already lost one man and now he lost two pieces of shreds of evidence, what could possibly happen next.

Similar to what happened once in the past about four Meganeura flew out from the leaves and camouflaged themselves into the trees above, Madden signaled for his crew to photograph[h the beautiful moment, but unfortunately the Meganeura were scared away by something much larger. A much more pleasant creature climbed into the scene, a flock of Othnielia often mistaken for Lemurs was jumping from branch to branch but luckily enough they decided to spot and feed from a prehistoric Ginkgo tree.

Susan and Mica captured the moment perfectly, Waden was moved by nature being itself while Yvelisse remained skeptical about their motives, yet she knew her contractor didn't mean any harm to the animals. The sound of the photograph startled the herbivores causing them to flee from the surroundings into a much calmer and safer environment. Much like the creatures, the humans move on to their next spot, heading through their new path.

"Great." Madden bragged to himself, "Now we got one example, with this one we got the shots from an aerial view and if we catch any herbivores on the way this might just be it."

"But what if there are no more herbivores, to begin with." Yvelisse doubted his statements containing acting indifferently to the man, "None of them see to be at ease or at a safe territory."

"Speak for yourself, Mora." Mica spoke as he opened up the foliage to find a herd of ceratopsians peacefully grazing on the grass away from all the predators and trouble, "They're beautiful."

Madden tapped Susan's shoulder ordering her to take more pictures of this, "This is perfect."

In reality, Yvelisse was really familiar with the species they came across, it was a herd of Pachyrhinosaurus. Yve desperately began to look through the dinosaurs from afar until she finally spotted what she came to the island for, Jewel, she might've looked exactly like her companions, but Yvelisse could tell the difference, she said breathily, "I have to go there."

"No, you can't go that close." Madden prohibited her to go any further placing his arm in front of Yvelisse.

His order was dismissed by Waden who was aware of Yvelisse's connection n to the animal, "Let her."

The girl slowly approached the herd of dinosaurs avoiding any slight sound that might trigger or startle them, she was stepping carefully over the grass only to reach Jewel at the very end of the herd. She stood in front of the animal that let out a big groan as she turned her head to Yvelisse, Jewel did in fact recognize her.

Yvelisse laughed in joy, slowly caressing the animal's snout, "Hey girl, it's me, how have you been? Is that your new family?"

Jewel somehow responded with a soft and educated bark. Not thinking about the possible coincidences, Mica accidentally captures the moment with the flash on, startling the entire herd of herbivores. Jewel inclined her frontal legs up like a horse and wandered back into the woods along with some other individuals in the herd.

"What the hell did you just do." Yvelisse whispered with rage at the stupid of man, "How could you not think about this."

"I'm sorry I didn't know." Mica apologized for his actions.

Madden pushed Susan's head down avoiding any visual contact with the animals, he audibly stated, "Your stupidity amazes me sometimes, wait where is he?"

Mica ran after the animals attempting to correct his mistake of scaring them away but unfortunately, his choice would lead him to his demise, the leader of the herd spotted him and charged like a bull. Mica dodged at first but this didn't mean he was safe, assuming the animal would simply wander off after his fast moves, but it only lead him to his death. The last thing the group heard of Mica were his screams of pain for being stomped by a large structured herbivore.
