Somewhere far off in the middle of nowhere, there laid a prosperous farm belonging to a wealthy family from Pennsylvania. There were apple orchards that lasted miles and miles, without counting the large number of cattle that benefited their dairy products franchise. The animals were healthy and heavily protected from predators such as mountain lions, coyotes, black bears, or bats. But what they don't expect was that something much more significant was about to happen with their lives and work. The wealthy family obviously wasn't present in the making of the products the people responsible was the staff while the administrators sealed with partnerships and marketing.

Recently there was a massacre in their countryside lands, a carnivore, much larger than ever expected, broke into the cowshed, eliminating most of the cattle one by one, even than destroying most of the apple plantation on its departure. This was complete devastation for the entire staff, nothing had come any closer to this tragedy, the entire situation happened to be the worst Fall ever.

In order to understand the tragedy, one of the managers hired local specialists to lighten them up on what exactly occurred during that terrible night. Professionals paleontologists, Natalie Young and Everett Carter came into the scene, looking a lot different. since the last, they came into public like this, as they tried to avoid authorities by going off the grid in three years' time.

Natalie's entire mood and aura had been completely switched up, she let her bangs grow out and her hair is completely loose for once, her clothing style is brighter but not much vibrant adapting to the country style, preferably wearing flannel and jeans. As for Everett, he shaved out his beard and decided to do the same as his partner, letting go of the hair gel and embracing his strawberry locks.

The woman took her sunglasses off clipping them to her top, she asked, "So whos taking me to the crime scene."

A short woman with a saddened expression nodded, "Right over here Ms. Young."

The two followed the group of now former staff to the barn. The building was almost completely destroyed, there was an enormous hole left in the back walls, and the stalls separating the animals collapsed., you could spot some cattle grazing on a hill from afar, but that was all. Everett bowed down, analyzing a footprint left by the carnivore, "I know exactly what was responsible for this."

"Elaborate because I'm eager to find out." The manager confessed, sighing with a lot of weight coming off their voice.

Natalie sat by Everett looking over the track, "What is it Ev?"

"You out of everyone should know." He responded with a daring look on his face.

She soon came to the realization that his words were marking and very impactful, even if she was trying to avoid her past experiences, they still happened and there was nothing she could do about it, "The acro?"

"Yes." Everett nodded his head as he stood up again, wiping off the dirt on his shirt, "The create responsible for the killing spree was a carnivore from the Cretaceous Period, the Acrocanthosaurus is an animal that we both came face to face with before, it behaves almost exactly like a tyrannosaur."

"In California." Natalie added as she was being buggered by something, "I don't see how it was able to end up in Pennsylvania."

"I mean it's been four years." Everett suggested, carving out a map of the United States on the sand, "It could've easily wandered through the states until it ended up here, in a really fast pace."

"With all the trafficking out there it might've been transported here." The manager stated, "Who knows what these smugglers are capable of."

"Good point." Everett said, looking around the wreckage.

"I just don't get why it was so aggressive toward our cattle."

"It spent most of its life living in captivity it wasn't able to hunt on its own nor explore new territory." Natalie theorized, "Maybe it is just a way of coping? We will never fully understand these animals."

"I'm grateful you two were able to find a solid answer." The manager shook their hands at the same time, "At the end of the day they are just animals following their instincts, in the future we will try our best to avoid any dinosaur break-ins just like we successfully do with natural carnivores."

"And we are glad we could help." Everett smiled as he followed Natalie out of the barn.

The partners returned to their pickup truck waving goodbye to the terrified group of people that never ever came across any dinosaurs. They now just hoped the creature wouldn't head over to their lands, fearing that it might affect something that mattered deeply to the two of them.
