The sun has gone down entirely and everything went south. In reality, Madden was using Waden's expedition as an excuse to relocate the valuable Utahraptor and its offspring, the creature would only ever respond to one it had seen before and shared mutual respect with, just like every animal on the program, since the other humans indicated for the job were needed by the man on the higher rank they had to rely on the riskiest yet sloppiest operation ever, with two newbies and two survivors that could be suspecting ay any given second, but as things went down, the time they had together was limited and the mission succeeded.
Omega and her single offspring are strapped to a container now, with several Geneticorp agents wandering around the other base camp that was occasionally on the island as well. Madden spat something at the bush as he shouted, "Take the most creatures you can we have a deadline, you know the boss doesn't like to wait."
Susan ran to the commander and showed him the pictures she got around the island then she showed him the view of Mica's chest camera on the local of his death, "The Pachy that attacked Mica got its frontal horns and crest in a knot." She zoomed into the scenery and revealed the female Pachyrhinosaurus the TunSi girl shared a special bond with, "Should we go for it?"
"No." Madden turned the tablet down, "Focus on smaller critters, like that one." He aimed at an Othinelia swinging from down a tree and suddenly bang, he lands a sedating dart on its neck, causing it to fall to the ground, "Easy."
On the other side, Yvelisse and Waden are handcuffed to the Utahraptoes cage. Omega is somehow still awake, struggling to break free from the belts holding her against her will. Yvelisse sighed, "I knew this was coming."
"It's all my fault." Waden owned up to it and claimed himself for this, "How could I have been so stupid."
"Will you stop bringing yourself down like that." Yvelisse scolded, "You didn't know these people were bad, and that's fine, there was nothing we could have done about it, they had weapons, we didn't."
The Utahraptor juvenile chirped in fear, worried for its mother. Waden smiled at the animal and said, "That must be Omega."
"Omega is the mom." Yvelisse corrected him also feeling happy about the animal, "The baby remains unnamed."
"Let's name her then." Waden scratched the back of his head, using logic, "We should name her a letter from the greek alphabet, like her mother, maybe Theta?"
"I like that." Yvelisse approached the animal's small cage and gave her a soft spat, "Hello, Theta."
"How creative." Madden approached the duo leaning against the container, "You two think you're going to get away with this but you're not, boss is preparing something very special for all of us."
Waden automatically tried to fix his glasses but as they were long gone now he simply threatened, "What is that supposed to be?"
"Can't say." He mimicked the action of zipping his mouth, "It's a surprise."
"You can't hurt them." Yvelisse argued as she motioned to the mother and the daughter, "They haven't done anything but be animals since they were freed."
"These animals are not going back to captivity, the interests have been surpassed." Madden explained as he sat down on a rock, "We only need them for a certain animal showcase, you must be familiar with it."
Yvelisse gasped, shocked to see the return of such event, "He brought it again, but how? It's been four years since San Diego."
"It appears Geneticrop has something way more powerful on their hands." Madden was somehow still impressed by their naivety, despite their experiences and knowledge.
Waden argued against what he said, believing his statements to be untrue. "Geneticorp was supposed to be flat broke-bankrupt."
"It isn't what it was before for sure." He began to explain, "This island belongs to the African continent, and the bases scattered around the United States have been taken down, abandoned, or replaced with more adequate purposes like the Sacramento Zoo for example. There are barely any species under our control at the moment and these ones behave terribly due to being left behind on an experimental island in Russia, the only remaining Geneticorp facility."
"That's impossible." Yvelisse stated, "How?"
"The staff is limited believe me." He suddenly stood up and let out a big sigh, "But I'm afraid our little girl talk has come to an end, I'll see you in 15 hours."
The prisoners are dragged into a small cargo plane along with the species captured by the short team, the other team had also left the islands beforehand. Now ut appears that everything will be leading to the same place, just not knowing where.
