A/n: sorry it's been a while. It's just that it's been awkward.. And I've started two new stories! One of them I'm doing with my friend. And I've been busy with school and the holidays. I hope you forgive me!! Enjoy this short chapter :)
Steve woke up to the alarm. So did Eddie, but he refused to get up. Steve got up and walked down stairs. His parents were getting ready to leave for work. "You had to work late, and you're still going in early? Did you even get any sleep?" Steve spoke. His parents were looking at him with coffee in their hands, they have bags under their eyes.
"Er, no, not much sleep, but we won't stay at work that long today. We'll catch up on our sleep, we promise." Steves mom said in a polite voice. She was usually always this calm. "Yeah..is it ok I stay home? I don't feel we'll.." Steve lied. Of course he did, he promised Eddie, didn't he?
"Yes, of course. You have good grades anyways. Go take some medicine. We'll be leaving now.. Love you!" Steve's dad said as his parents left the house. Now, time to relax.
Steve walked back up the stairs, and took a left to his room. He climbef back into bed with Eddie. He fell back asleep.
