"Code 1-3-1! All hands on the bridge!" Nate yelled, sprinting onto the bridge himself. I was less than eager to listen to him, but I felt as though I had no choice, seeing as the rest of the team would miss my presence.
"What's going on?" Sara questioned the historian, exiting the parlor with the blonde time bureau agent on her side.
"Yeah." The arsonist of the group agreed, walking in with a beer in his hand. "I gotta get back to Lord Of The Rings."
Ava furrowed her eyebrows, looking at the reformed criminal. "You read?" She was met with a grumble in response.
"Code 1-3-1." Nate repeated, noticing everyone had gotten off topic. "Come on, guys, I wrote a whole memo." He whined.
"Yeah, nobody read it." I filled him in.
"I did." Ray rebutled, entering the opposing entrance of the bridge with a large grin on his face.
"Thank you, Ray."
"Pancakes for breakfast!"
Nate's moment of relief was short lived as his anxiety was rebuilt off of Ray's comment. "No, 1-3-1 is not-" He stopped himself promptly. "Is it?"
"Yeah. Does that mean no pancakes?" I shook my head from Sara's side , informing the mush of a man that there were no pancakes he so happily expected. "Anyways, I wrote a song to help us remember all the codes. It goes like this- from the top! If the code is 1-1-1, Mallus escaped the time dungeon, if the code is 1-1-2-" Ray's song, while enjoyable to me, was not seen the same way by everyone else, Sara deciding to stop Ray before he could continue.
"All right, Nate, just tell us."
"Someone stole the jumpship." He looked next to me, the spot in between us unoccupied. "Where's your wife?" It struck me just then that Amaya wasn't with us on the bridge.
Everyone glanced at me, expecting me to solve the case of the missing legend. "Don't look at me."
"Marital problems?" Nate whispered to me.
"None of your damn business." My more than frustrated voice shut Nate up, the new science allowing me to process a new idea. "Zari, check the jumpship logs. I think I know where she is."
"You called it." Zari shrugged. "Zambesi, 1992. Right before the warlords destroyed her village."
"And she dies. The old her, that is." Nate chimed in unwelcomed once again. Suddenly a large rumble rocked the ship, sparks flying all around us.
"Woah, the temporal zone is getting really choppy." Wally noted as he regained his balance.
"Yeah, the timeline was crumbling even before Amaya decided to change history." Ray added, bringing up another startling fact to our situation. "If that happens, the Darhks will be able to free their demon."
"Oh, we'll, I'd better get back to my movie." Mick responded shamelessly as he shrugged his shoulders just as care free.
"And we'd better stop Amaya before she does something reckless." Sara notes, building off of the arsonist's idea. "Gideon, plot a course for-" The AI had an idea of her own, cutting off the captain.
"Pardon me, Captain Lance. But we are receiving an urgent call from Mr. Hunter."
Sara decided it best to follow Ava's wishes, glancing at her fellow blonde for guidance. "You good?"
"Gideon, put him on." She responded coldly.
"The bureau needs backup." Rip panted on the other end of the call. "Grodd's going after Barry." The ship rumbled more, allowing me to connect the two actions almost immediately.
