The door flew open, the guest was able to see us kiss.

We both looked at who was the door, embarrassed at what they had just seen.

Yoo Seung Ho.

"Er- do you guys need space?" Seungho was flustered.

"Seungho, why are you here? Why did you come in without knocking?" Jongin grunted.

Seungho shrugged.

"I did knock, but there was no response..."

I blushed.

Obviously, Seungho expected us to be sleeping or playing dead instead of making out.

"So... you two are really together?" Seungho asked, closing the door behind him.

"N-"

"Yes." Jongin cut me off.

I rolled my eyes, getting annoyed.

"Your 'girlfriend' doesn't think so." Seungho crossed his arms.

Pft.

"Are you two fighting over me?" I exclaimed, bursting out into laughter.

Jongin and Seungho glared at each other.

"I'll take that as a yes."

I got up onto my feet, brushing the dust off my pants.

"I need to talk to you." Seungho, out of nowhere, grabbed my wrist and pulled me out of the room.

"Wait-"

Seungho kept dragging me around the basement before pulling me into a bedroom.

Not just a regular bedroom.

A.

Royal.

Bedroom.

Everything was just medieval; from the lights to the floor, everything was red or gold.

The bed was the best part of the room.

It had four tall posts on each corner, a veil on top of the four posts.

The bed looked like it was a princess's.

"What kind of room is this?" I asked, still looking around the room.

"Well, since my family descends from the royal Yi family..."

"You descend from a royal family?! How royal are you to have this?" I made a big circle with my arms.

"I'm super royal, actually. Both of my grandparents on my Dad's side descend from the illegitimate child of King Injo. My grandpa on my Mom's side descends from one of King Hyeongjong's daughters. My grandma on my Mom's side directly descends from Crown Prince Sado."

"Why do you have 'Yoo' as your last name if you descend from the 'Yi' royal family?"

"...I'm adopted by my step-uncle. The evil one upstairs."

"Wait, what happened to your parents? Why is he your step-uncle?"

He pulled me onto the bed next to him, willing to tell the story.

"My mom was pregnant with me when my dad cheated on her with another woman, who's surname was Yoo. My dad got divorced with my mother a few days later, and my mom was stressed out at the time. She then got in a car accident. It was a bad accident, a major one. It killed her, actually. The doctors were barely able to even save me. My dad heard about my mom's news and begged his own parents to let him see me. My grandparents called my father a traitor and kicked my dad and stepmom out the house. They were so madly in love, but my dad felt so guilty about my mom's death that he committed suicide. My stepmom decided to raise me and regard me as her own son; and she did. She was a very nice woman; very diligent and wise. She was an aristocratic herself, which made her not so bad for my royal grandparents."

He shrugged.

"And then everything fell apart. My aunt started dating another man and started to neglect me. I, only 5-years old, was clueless about what was happening until my step-uncle decided to raise me. He was power hungry; always wanting a royal title even though he had a noble one. And that's the story."

The amazing thing is that he told the whole story without emotion.

He turned to me and set his hand into mine.

"Marry me."

"What- why?"

"For power."
