"That's all for today's class," My professor said, "Have a nice summer. I'll be looking forward to seeing some of you next year." Standing up I swung my bag over my shoulder and made my way toward the door. Once I exited the class, I let out a sigh of relief my first year of college was finally over. Now I can relax and not have to worry about papers that are due or how I'm gonna afford my food for the next week. All I need to worry about is finding a summer job and making sure my friends don't get hurt because they did something stupid. Speaking of my friends where are they? As far as I know, besides me the only other person who had a class today was Ella and hers was sometime after two. Glancing down at my watch I saw it was one fifteen. We better hurry up and get lunch if she wants to get to class on time. Pulling out my phone I pulled up the group chat and sent out a message "Hey, I'm done with class. Where are you guys?" I pressed send, turned off my phone, and put it in my back pocket. I continued walking until my phone buzzed. Grabbing my phone, I looked to see who replied. It was Jack, "We're out at the front of the dorms arguing about what we should eat." I chuckled and rolled my eyes, of course, they couldn't agree on what they wanted to eat. We could all agree on what movie to watch but as soon as it came to food it became a full-out war. One would want Chinese someone else would want McDonald's another one of us wouldn't want to go out because in all honesty, we couldn't really afford it, and then the last person would want ice cream or something like that. As I made my way over to the dorms I began to think about my plans for the summer.

My friends and I are going to stay at a cabin for the first week of summer then I was going to my parents the second week of June and I was staying there for the rest of the summer. I needed to get a summer job, but I would probably just go back to working at Starbucks. I also needed to find a way to avoid my parents as much as possible when I was home so they couldn't rope me into another conversation about political values and what was good for the economy and how my political views were messed up and that I needed to fix them. Because apparently, my personal opinion isn't welcome in the house unless it's the same as theirs. I also needed to make sure I got a gift for my nephew's birthday that was coming up. Oh, I also want to visit my aunts when they come into town for the week, I haven't seen them since Thanksgiving two years ago. Then the most important thing, hanging out with my friends and making sure they don't die because knowing them they will find some way to put themselves in mortal danger. Looking around I realized I was almost to the dorms. I began walking faster and scanning the area for my friends. My eyes landed on a group of three people standing near the parking lot that were arguing. I smiled to myself when I saw them. There was one boy and two girls. The boy has short charcoal-colored hair with tanned skin and chocolate-brown eyes. He's wearing a pair of black jeans and a plain white shirt with a blue jacket tied around his waist. I'm pretty sure he's 5'9 which is an inch taller than me. The girl standing next to him was considerably shorter probably around 5'4. Her shoulder-length pitch-black hair was down so you could see how it contrasted against her pale skin and green cat-like eyes. She wore a striped white and pink sweater with a white skirt. The girl was currently arguing with the taller girl next to her. The girl was taller than her by two inches, so she was around 5'6. Her light brown skin matched her messy, burgundy-dyed hair that was up in a ponytail. She was wearing a black beanie that covered up most of her head and black ripped jeans along with a dark gray tank top.

I began sprinting over in their direction waving. "Hi, guys!" I greeted. The girl with black hair broke into a large grin and pulled me into a bone-crushing hug, "Luke! There you are!" The girl next to her chuckled, "Anna let go you're gonna crush him." Anna pouted but let go, "I wasn't going to crush him. Besides what type of friend would I be if I didn't hug him!?" "Yeah, Ella what type of friend doesn't give hugs," I teased. Ella scoffed and rolled her eyes, "Shut up and get over here." I smiled and pulled her into a side hug, "You know I'm just teasing." "I know," she replied. "Hey! Don't forget about me!" A voice behind me protested. Turning around I saw the boy behind me opening his arms in an invitation to hug him. Chuckling I pulled him into a hug, "Don't worry I didn't forget about you, Jack." "Good, because if you did you wouldn't be getting any lunch," he joked. "Speaking of lunch what are we eating?" I asked. Ella glared over at Anna, "Well you see this person over here," she jabbed her finger at Anna, "Wants McDonald's but we got that last time, so I don't want to eat it again." "Well, it's better than what JACK wants to eat," Anna huffed, " Burger King is disgusting." Jack scoffed, "Excuse you but Burger King is amazing." I sighed, "What about Taco Bell? We haven't had that in a while." Everyone turned their heads and stared at me, "Taco Bell?" Ella asked in disbelief, "TACO BELL!? DO YOU REMEMBER WHAT HAPPENED LAST TIME WE WENT THERE!?" "Um no," I muttered. "I BARFED ALL OVER THE TABLE! BECAUSE MY STOMACH DOESN'T LIKE THE FOOD! WE DO NOT GO TO TACO BELL!" She screeched. "Oh, yeah that did happen, didn't it?" I murmured remembering that day, definitely see why we don't want to go there, "Yeah you're right no Taco Bell." After another five minutes, we finally decided to go to Wendy's, so we all piled into my car and drove over.
