HOPE sat across Mr. Tolentino's desk. She was beaming confidently about the biggest article she will write and she is damn sure that this will change her career — for the better, she prays!

On her journal were crossed out words — working titles for her article, but there's one that she was sure to captivate any reader's attention. Destiny: A Case Unknown. Below were clues she has found during her investigation such as a month and a year, a question mark beside the word 'criminal', and a few names connected to the multi-millionaire, Destiny Lauchengco.

"I'm all ears." Mr. Tolentino grinned. Hope already gave him a slight preview about her article when she called him this morning and the mere mention of the term murder followed by the name of Destiny Lauchengco were music to his ears. Having an exposé on the one of the country's richest person connected to a crime will make their network rise to fame and it will surely get him the promotion he has been eyeing for.

She turned her journal upside-down for her boss to read what she wrote and Mr. Tolentino looked very pleased.

A multi-millionaire with a mysterious background, Destiny Lauchengco becomes the primary suspect for Lena Madrigal's murder case that happened on March 02, 2022.

A reliable source confirmed that her psychopathic attitude comes from a traumatic childhood experience.

Abot-langit ang ngiti ni Mr. Tolentino at nagniningning ang mga matang tiningnan si Hope. Maikli pa lamang ang naisusulat nito ngunit sigurado na siyang marami ang magkakaroon ng interest upang halungkatin ang buhay ng maalindog at mailap na milyonarya. Perpekto kasi ang pagkakakilanlan ng dalagang si Destiny at wala silang mahanap na ikasisira ng pangalan nito. Not until one of her former employees was found dead on Morville's territory.

Tatango-tango ito at hinimas pa ang bigote. May kapayatan si Mr. Tolentino at palaging naka-suit and tie sa tuwing pumapasok sa opisina. "Your article looks very promising! I'm pretty sure this will be the year's biggest news in the country." Buong kompyansa niyang sambit. "Lalo na kung makakapanayam natin mismo ang sinasabi mong reliable source." Binigyang-diin niya ang dalawang huling salita na sinambit niya.

Hope cleared her throat upon hearing Mr. Tolentino's last words. Alam niyang mahihirapan siyang kumbinsihin ang dalagang nadulas sa nakaraan ni Destiny — si Dei.

Napukaw ang atensyon nila nang makarinig sila ng komosyon sa labas ng opisina ni Mr. Tolentino. His office wall is made of full-length window kaya nakikita nilang pareho ang nangyayari sa kanilang department.

Two gentlemen showed their police badges. Dumapo naman ang tingin ng dalagang kasama nila sa gawi ni Hope at walang pag-aalinlangang tinungo ang opisina ni Mr. Tolentino.

His office door is never locked unless he has a meeting with their bosses. Dei barged in followed by Xander and Knight.

"This is trespassing!" Mr. Tolentino screamed but Dei couldn't care less.

Kaagad na hinablot ni Dei ang journal sa lamesa ni Mr. Tolentino lalo na noong mabasa niya ang pangalan ni Destiny. Aagawin pa sana iyon ni Hope ngunit pinigilan naman siya ni Knight habang si Xander naman ay humarap kay Mr. Tolentino.

"The case against Lena Madrigal is still on-going and any article connecting to the case is prohibited to be published." Paliwanag ni Xander. "Nakasaad ito sa huling panayam namin sa media!" Halatang pinapakalma nito ang sarili sa mga sandaling iyon at napakamot na lamang ng batok si Mr. Tolentino.
