Chapter 7: Experiment

PB's P.O.V

I pointed at the bulleted sentence:
"• go make an experiment with Finn."
"Oh haha sure, what kind of experiment?" Finn asked me.
"Hmmm... Let's go to the lab." I said. We walked to the lab.
"Does what does it feel to be younger than me?" Finn asked me curiously.

Honestly, it feels great knowing that Finn's age and my age are alright with being in a relationship you know.

Being younger than him made me realize new things about him, or made me notice what I didn't see before like how his eyes were so dreamy and his body structure is oh so perfect, and how he's really well with ladies around his age.

I blushed at the thought of Finn. I snapped out of my thoughts then I answered.

"It feels great. I get to notice things about you that I never noticed before." I admitted, feeling myself blush again.
"L-like what?" He asked.

"Like how dre-" I cut myself off. WHAT THE HECK I CAN'T TELL HIM THAT! I don't even know if he'd reciprocate his feelings for me.. "Reciprocate", LOL such a nerdy word. Why am I so nerdy glob damnit

"Like how..awesome your eyes are and how tall you are and-" Finn put his finger on my mouth to cut me off, he just smiled at me. A genuine smile. I blushed.

"Princess, how's it like being shorter than me?" He asked me. I chuckled at his weird question.

"Well, it feels like I don't rule over you anymore but its alright." I replied.
"We're here.." I said as we walked in the lab. I saw all my test tubes, bottles and flasks arranged on the shelf.

"What are we gonna make?" He asked me, I handed him an apron then I put on mine.
"Hmmm.. How bout something that will help the accelerate the growth of crops and plants?" I suggested since I have a garden of my own and I care for my plants like they're babies.

"Okay, what will we need?" He asked as he put on some eye protection. I gave him the list of possible chemicals to use.

I sit there and wait as he gets the chemicals, but with my help by telling him what those scientific terms mean. After minutes, he gathers all the containers on the table. I scribbled down the equation for the perfect mixture. I needed 2 more ingredients.

"Finn, can you please get me some wild hydranga flowers from the garden?" I ordered.
"Sure, my Princess." I heard him mumble but I couldn't quite hear.
"What?" I asked him. He blushed crimson red. He just ran off. Heh, silly Finny.

The other thing I needed was on the top shelf, I'm too short to reach it though. So I got a ladder from the storage room then I tried to reach it, I heard the doors open assuming Finn is here.

Suddenly my ladder became wobbly. I lost my balance and fell. I closed my eyes for the pain of falling. I waited for myself to fall until I felt strong arms wrap around me. I opened my eyes to see Finn.

"Are you alright Princess?" He whispered in my ear. It sent tingles to my spine. I bit my lip and nodded in agreement. I blushed and I could tell he was blushing too.

He just stood there, holding me in his arms bridal style, staring at me. I stared into his deep blue eyes, I just get lost in his eyes.

We laughed at each other at how cheesy that moment was, he put me down. My eyes linger on his face for awhile... Maybe, just maybe, Finn and I would make the perfect solution. I need to make us work while I'm still 14. I want to experiment with him and I.

Short but sweet huh? I had fun writing this haha. Anyways, more fluff soon!
