Chapter 20: Better

Marceline's P.O V

"Let me go. Stop controlling me! I don't want to ruin everything" I let one final yell go before I started to run and break free from the horned demon.
"I will take over you." He whispered.
I can't do anything, I'm in my own mind. I, Marceline Abadeer, trapped in my own mind, unable to control myself physically.

I woke up. I stopped floating then plopped on my bed. I saw Finn, still sleeping. I took off his hat then messed around with his hair.

I like how peaceful he looks when sleeping. I liked Finn. Alot. I kissed him on the lips. Then I got up, washed up, put my hair in a bun then I made breakfast.

After a while, I heard Finn's voice.
"Good morning Marmar." He said in his deep voice.

Man, I gotra get used to his now "manly" voice. I was used to his child voice. Puberty does alot. I see that he had washed up already, ready for an adventure.

"Good morning Finn! Have a seat. Breakfast is almost ready." I replied with a smile. I love this, hanging out with Finn, without Bonnibel.

Yeah she's my friend and all but, I had a thing for Finn. I'm just really good at hiding feelings for people. I snapped out of my thoughts then served the eggs and bacon to Finn while I drank the red out of 2 apples.

"What do you wanna do today?" I asked him.
"I don't know. You think." He replied.
"Wanna go to that creepy old carnival at the Dark Lands?" I asked him. (A/N: Dark Lands is a made up land I made.) Dark Lands is the secret place I have at the Nightosphere. Only I have access to open the portal to it.

"I haven't heard of the Dark Lands but, sure! You go ahead and shower first." He said to me, finishing his food.

I was done drinking red. I walked upstairs to do my daily routine. I dryed off, then I decided to wear a sleeveless black dress that reached half my thighs and some scarlet red boots. I let my hair be, as always, grabbed my axe bass then went down.

I saw Finn packing one of the gray apples I had drunk then he packed some strawberries.

"What are those for?" I ask him.
"Um its for you, incase you get hungry. And the gray apple for me, I don't want it to go to waste heh." He said with a smile. I felt my heart skip a beat. That is so sweet of him. I just smiled in return.

"Ready to go?" I ask him.
"Yeah!"
"I wish to go to my own land, open this portal, I command." I chanted as a dark red rectangular portal opened.

I jumped in then I floated, since the portal opened to an abyss. I waited for Finn to jump. I caught him. We laughed. I floated to the ferris wheel first.

"Wanna go on this one first?" I ask him.
"Schmowzow this place is amazing!" He jumped around. I laugh as I carry him to the top.

"This is where I used to break down you know, emotional jizz." I said to him. Now, only him and I know about this place. As the ferris wheel turned, we heard a strange noise.

"What was that?" He asked.
"I don't know. Maybe just the gears creaking." I replied. I floated down to check the gears, when suddenly, I heard Finn scream.

I looked up to see a beast in the Nightosphere we call "Marein". Finn is holding his arm, probrably scratched by the beast.

I quickly changed into a monster then I scared the Marein away. Wait, how did a Marein even get here?!

"Ouch." Finn said, gripping his arm.
"Let me see." I said. He took his hand off his arm. I saw a long gash. It wasn't deep so I thought of covering it up first.

"Do you have a bandage?" I asked him. He handed me his pack then I searched around. I saw a roll of bandage. I carefully wrapped it around his arm. Then I lightly kissed it.

"Better?" I asked him. He nodded with a smile. I grabbed him then floated to the thing humans called a "Merry Go Round" It stopped working but its really fun to chill out here.

I placed Finn on a horse then I sat on one too. I started thinking where that Marein came from. I hope my dad doesn't know about this place...

Finn walked to the edge of the Merry Go Round. Probz thinking about Bonnibel. Oh Finn. I floated in front of him. I started strumming my bass. He looked at me then smiled.

"I'm having alot of fun with you." He said, blushing. Oh how I love it when he blushes!

"Yeah me too." I replied. I started playing a song I made just for him...I didn't sing it though, it has too many secrets. I just played the tune.

Finn silently hummed along. I smiled at him. Things are going pretty well between us. "Only days till the dinner, only days till my plan. Only days till I take my true form." The horned demon spoke .
