Chapter 8: Tease

PB's P.O.V

"That was so cheesy. Thanks for catching me." I said. I never wanted that moment to end, I didn't want to leave his arms, the way it makes me feel. It makes me feel safe and protected. I said to myself. Oh how I wish to fall again. I saw Finn turn red.

"Uh, no prob, Princess. Anyways, you speak your thoughts loud." He replied. What, did I just say all of those things?!

Oh glob what's wrong with me? I felt my stomach churn and my cheeks blush, I realy felt the warmth of my cheeks. I just turned around, trying to forget that embarassing moment.

"So, you never wanna leave my arms huh?" Finn teased with a smirk played on his face. I blushed again and I felt giddy and embarassed and all of these mixed up emotions.

"Oh shut up, Finny!" I said to him covering my face with my hands. I just looked at him, smirking at my actions. I decided to take his hat and make him chase me.

"Gimme ma hatttt" he sang as he chased me around the lab. I ran and ran then I reached the balcony that was connected to the lab. I put on his hat then I looked at him.

"I'm Finn and I'm such a tease." I imitated him. He looks at me, quite amused.
"I'm Princess Bubblegum and I never wanna leave Finn's arms because I feel soooo safe." He said in a girly voice. I quickly took the hat off and threw it at his face.

"Let's work on that experiment now, Finn." I said to him. After a while we're finally done!

"Let's test it out on the wild flowers you got." I said. He took out the flowers then I put two drops of the mixture onto the ends of the stems. It grew roots and it bloomed.

"Algebraic!" He exclaimed. We walked out then went to the garden. We played around with the chemical when suddenly, Pep But called us in for some snacks.

"I had fun." Finn commented as we walked to the dining room.
"Me too." I replied. We sat down and waited for our food to be served.
"What shall we do next?" He asked me.

"I don't know. Maybe just chill." I said. Finally our snacks came, hazelnut french toast with strawberries. We heartily dug into our food.

After eating, we walked up to my room. I laid down on my bed then I turned on the TV. I played a movie called "Thermo Sub" I patted at the space beside me signing Finn to sit with me.

"Oh man I love this movie." Finn said with excitement in his eyes.
"Oh really? Mine too. Well, mayeb cuz it's less drama." We laughed. We continued watching. Halfway through the movie I felt kinda sleepy.

Finn's P.O.V

"No sir, we haven't found it yet." The co pilot said to the captain. It's halfway through the movie. Suddenly I felt Princess Bubblegum lean on my shoulder. I blushed as I marveled at her beautiful face.

I positioned myself where in she could sleep comfortably. I was laying down, and her head nestled in my neck and her arms wrapped around me.

She looks so cute. Oh glob. Even the simplest things she does makes the butterflies in my stomach go crzay. I always felt like a time bomb waiting to relapse. Oh Bubblegum... I took her braid out then let the soft curls lay softly on her sides.

I continued watching the movie. After a while, I felt her shift then she entangled her legs with mine. I felt warm and cozy. The movie ended then I decided to go take a nap.
