Chapter 41: Smile

PB's P.O.V

"Ugh." I sigh as I turn my alarm clock off. I dragged myself lazily to the bathroom to do my daily routine. After drying off, I put on a plain pink v-neck shirt and purple leggings. I paired the outfit with hot pink sneakers. I let my hair be waist length and wavy today.

Guess what time it is? Six pm! Wow. I cannot believe how much I had slept. I'm so tired but I want to do something. I walked to my bed. My phone rang.

"Hello?"
"Hi PB! Wanna hang out? Um I understand if you're tired. We can-" I cut Finn off.
"Yeah I'm alright. How bout dinner at your place?" I smile.

"S-sure that sounds great. Be here at?" Finn asked.
"20 minutes. Bye! Love you." I said.
"I love you most." And he put down the phone.

"Yieee" I squealed as I covered my blushing face with a pillow. I am never going to get used to exchanging ' I love you's.

I put on my pink hoodie, fixed myself then I walk out. I see Pepermint Butler pacing along the halls.

"Pep But, hi um I just want to say thank you for helping us. I'm gonna give you a two day off." I hugged him. He's the best butler anyone could have.

"No problem Princess. And thank you too." He replied with a smile.
"Oh, and I'll be over at Finn's place." I said.
"Alright Princess. Take care." I walked to the castle gates then I continued to walk to the treehouse.

I look up to see the stars beautifully dot the night sky. After minutes of walking, I reach their treehouse. I slowly knock on the door.

"Princess!" Jake opened the door then he hugged me.
"Hello Jake!" We walked inside. I see Finn going down the stairs, putting on his shirt.
Damn straight

"My princess!" He ran to me.
"Finn!" I pinched his cheeks.
"Haha enough with the greetings." BMO said. Jake grabs Finn and I then they push us outside. I see a beautiful candlelit dinner.

"You planned this?" I ask in surprise.
"Yeahhh.." He blushed.
"Oh you." I kiss him on his cheek. I can tell he's freaking out in his mind right now.

We sat on our chairs then we just stared at each other while we waited for out dinner.
I yawn.
"Tired?" He asks me.
"Yeah.. How about you?"
"Same." He smiles. We held hands.

"PBubs? Did you ever knew that I like your face? Its nice." Finn blurted. I was kinda flattered and surprised.
"Stop it." I playfully punch his arm.
"What? Its true!" He retorts.

"Well, did you ever knew I loved your blue eyes?" I smirk.
"You jelly of these orbs huh?" He bats his eyelashes. We laugh at our craziness. Then, he leaned closer, our faces inches apart. He closes the gap when he kisses me.

The butterflies in my stomach go crazy. I smile, breaking the kiss.
"Um you can save dessert for later you know." Jake said while wiggling his eyebrows. Finn and I pull away, blushing.

"Mhmm." Jake says in a sarcastic tone. He places the two plates of spaghetti on the table.
"Hope you two enjoy." He smiles before walking away.

"So..let's eat?" Finn asks.
"Yeah. I'm hungry as math." I reply. We smile then we ate our dinner. It was silent, constantly looking at each other, constantly smiling. I enjoyed just being with him.

After minutes of eating, we were done. I wiped the sauce off my mouth then I drink champange that Jake had gotten.
"Princess." Finn says.
"Mhm?"

"Look at the stars. Bright, like you. The champange, bubbly like you." Finn says with a smirk.

I blush.
"Thank you." I giggle. We stand up, Jake comes to clean up then we decided to just walk around for a while. He intertwines our fingers.

"Finn?" He looks at me.
"I love you." I say.
"I love you too." He replies with a grin.
"Um princess, can we um hang tomorrow?" He puts his hand on his neck.
"Yeah. Why not."

"TAG you're it!" I tap him on his shoulder. I ran as fast as I can. I see him running to me. I didn't look back and kept running to nowhere.

I felt someone tackle me down on the fresh grass. I see Finn hugging me. We rolled down to a meadow I had never been to.
We laugh as we lay there.

"Wow. I have never been here. Ever." I stare at the beautiful glowing flowers and the fireflies.
"Me neither." Finn says. We just stare in awe, holding hands.

We hang around there for a while, then we walked back home.
"Oh shoot. It's 10." I say, looking at my watch.

"Wanna stay here?" He asks.
"Yeah." Finn puts on a movie. He sits on a couch and I sit on him, cuddling. We watched the movie on BMO until we fell asleep.

Hello guys! I'm alive! Yeah. Sorry for not updating :( I was sick and last night I was choking and coughing like there's no tomorrow but, now I'm okay. :p
