"Yes Richie. For the last time, we are dating." Stan said for the 50th time. Bill, Richie and Stanley were all sitting in the hideout, talking. Stanley and Bill were awkwardly sitting next to each other on the dusty, old couch. While Richie was laying in the hammock.

Richie loved the hammock, but he loved it because of Eddie. Whenever he would refuse to get out of it and let Eddie have a turn, Eddie would climb in anyways. Leaving Richie and Eddie very, very close. Richie would sometimes try and slowly rub Eddie's leg with his hand, but it has never got him anywhere. Sitting in the hammock without Eddie, made Richie sad, but he enjoyed imagining Eddie was there.

When your two bestfriends start dating, it is a wonder if anything will change. Sometimes the two lovers would ditch their friends, just for each other. Other times, they would be all lovey dovey infront of everyone, but Stanley and Bill did neither. Instead, nothing changed in the friend group. Everything stayed the same. When Stanley and Bill told the rest of the Losers, they all welcomed their relationship with opening arms. It would be a challenge to keep it from anyone else, like Henry Bowers, but if everyone keeps their mouths shut and Bill and Stan literally get a room, then everything should be fine.

There is always the scare of 'what happens if they break up', but honestly, all the Losers thought they were perfect for eachother.

Of course Richie was very happy for them, they're his best friends. Except a part of him hated they were together. Any time he would think about them, he thought about Eddie, and how him and Eddie could never be like that. Richie never said anything about it, nor did he have the confidence, but that doesn't mean it wasn't on his mind. Nevertheless, Richie was very supportive. Especially since he would love to have something Bill and Stanley have one day.

A few days had past, and Richie completely forgot about that note he found earlier in the week. He knew he had forgotten something, however he had no idea what.

Richie was at home. He had a bunch of pages spread out across his room. On the floor, on the bed, on the desk, everywhere. Each page had a certain location on it. Richie was destined to find Eddie, no matter how long it would take.

Thinking about Eddie made Richie realise he forgot about Eddie's mother. Instead of making a cruel joke about Sonia and saving it for later, like he would usually do. He worried about her. 'Shit, what about Sonia?' Richie thought to himself. 'Is she with Eds.. or..' His shocked face turned into a frown. 'He must miss her so fucking much. I have to find them, soon.' Richie thought again, being determined.

It was now the next day, and It was time for school. Richie was running late so instead of walking, he decided to ride his bike.

As he was riding in the wind, something felt off. That's when he realised, riding his bike would never be the same without Eddie.

Not being able to make stupid jokes about his friend's mother and then being scolded for it by said friend, felt wrong. Of course everything felt wrong without Eddie, but as he was thinking about this, Richie had another flashback;

The two boys were laughing once again, Richie was riding infront of Eddie, while Eddie was right behind him. "C'mon Eds! Your mom can go faster then that!" Richie yelled out so Eddie could hear him. Eddie became competitive quickly, and started to peddle faster. Eddie started passing Richie, he had the biggest smile on his face. Instead of chasing him down, Richie just smiled and admired the joy on Eddie's beautiful face. "You sure about that Rich?" Eddie yelled out at him, making Richie realise he was metres behind. "Oh yeah?" Richie said, racing up to Eddie and almost passing him. The two were riding next to each other, the wind blowing whilst they try to go faster then the other. They both had the biggest smiles on their faces.

The memory ended.

Richie continued to ride his bike to school, he felt guilty without his best friend being there though.

After school had ended, the same thing had happened to Richie. Memories were flying in and out of his head so fast he couldn't help but start tearing up. He knew he missed Eddie, everyone knew. But Richie didn't think it would be like this. Everything felt surreal up to this point.

Eddie was missing, and there was nothing Richie could do.
