( After some days at school )
Marie : Hope you look sad what's up ? Is it because of Adam ?
Hope : Uh huh ( nods ) I still can't believe today is his last day here
Marie : Don't be sad
Hope : I am going to miss him so much and even Ben will go after two months ( says with teary eyes )
Marie : I know it's sad but we will all meet after both of us go from this orphanage and be friends again ( says sadly )
Hope : I made you sad too (cries)
(Both hug each other and Marie tries to calm Hope down )
( After some time )
Hope : I am fine now Marie , I am just feeling a bit dizzy so I am going to the sickbay to get some medicine
Marie : I'll come with you
Hope : No it's fine I can go by myself
Marie : But _
Hope : ( smiles ) Don't worry I am fine
Marie : Okay , be careful
( Hope goes towards the sickbay and on her way hears Adam's name from the office )
Hope : I shouldn't be eaves dropping , I should go .
Ms Jhonas : Adam we know about your dad being a Mafia leader but how are you related to Hope Davidson ?
( Hope stops with a confused look on her face )
Adam : I uh ..I am well ( nervous)
Ms Jhonas : Adam you can tell us don't worry we won't tell about this to anyone
Adam : ...When I was around 8 years old I remember buying a rare dolphin made up of glass , it was very fragile . One day I was walking in a park when suddenly a little girl bumped into me and the dolphin fell from my hand and broke . I uh .. got so angry that I pushed that girl but suddenly her parents came and her mother asked me that why did I push her , I replied that she broke my precious dolphin , her dad said to me that she didn't do it on purpose and that she can't see I got so angry that when I came home I didn't eat anything for a whole day and locked myself in my room later that night my Father came home . I ... knew that my dad was a dangerous man who could easily get people killed but still I was such a f*cking stupid child ( falls on the ground and starts crying ) I told him about everything and told him to kill Hope's parents Dad was such a mad man that he agreed and asked that If I really want to do that but then I replied that , no dad only kill her parents and that way she would be alone and that ... would be a better punishment ! ( cries more)
( Hope after hearing all of this sits on the ground and starts crying while covering her mouth so no one hears her )
Adam : I didn't think my dad would seriously kill her parents but one day he took me to a funeral and I saw the same girl crying and talking about how humans are like birds and they fly away ... My...my heart was about to explode after seeing her cry so much . I looked up at my dad and he was smiling I felt so much disgust for myself and started to hate myself the next day dad came to me and told me that the girl is now in an orphanage
Hope : ( whispers while crying ) that ... that funeral was of my parents but ..but Nancy told me it was someone else ( cries even more ) Dada , mom I thought I didn't say my last goodbye but I did , I DID !
Adam : After that I couldn't think about anything what I knew to do was hate myself but when I became a bit stable I called the police and told them everything about my dad and even helped them to arrest him
Ms Jhonas : You told the police ?
Adam : Yes , I myself told the police to arrest my Father then I had no where to go so I requested the police to send me to the orphanage where Hope was so that at least I could try my best to protect her and make her happy because I am the reason why she had to go through all that pain and suffering
Ms Jhonas: I am sorry Adam , you had to go through so much ( comes near Adam and helps him stand up) . Adam , today is your last day here, say goodbye to everyone with a smile
Adam : ( wipes his tears ) sure
( Adam comes outside of the office and feels like his soul left his body after seeing Hope sitting outside and crying)
Adam : Hope ! What .. what are you doing here ? , why are you crying , don't tell me you heard everything ( scared)
( Adam comes near Hope and grabs her hand but Hope pushes him and steps back )
Hope : DON'T COME NEAR ME !
Adam : ( with a sad look on his face ) Hope , please I am so sorry , I know sorry isn't enough and I know you can't forgive me but please don't hate me
Hope : STAY BACK ! I can't think about anything right now please Adam , please leave me alone ( starts crying loudly )
Adam : Hope , don't cry ( says with tears in his eyes )
( Suddenly Hope falls unconscious on the ground )
Adam : HOPE !! HOPE !!
