( Two days later )
Hope : Marie can you drop me at the park near our old apartment
Marie : Yeah but why are you going there ?
Hope : Oh I told you that I'd go to meet Chris
Marie : Uh yeah.... Hope
Hope : What is it?
Marie : I dont know but doesn't this Chris guy give of a strange vibe like he appeared out of no where
Hope : Huh ? I think he was just shy and wasn't able to talk to anyone and I know how that feels so that's why I'm trying my best to help him
Marie : Ahh if you say so but wasn't Adam going with you ?
Hope : He came home late yesterday so I didn't want to disturb him
Marie : I wonder what he does so late
( Marie drops Hope at the park )
Marie : I really wanted to see this Chris but the principal already called me two times guess I can't see him today but make sure to give him my message that if he tries to do something funny I will separate his head from his body
Hope : Jeez calm down and take care bye !
Marie : Bye !
( After some time Chris arrives )
Chris : Sorry I am late I stopped by the art store to buy some paints
Hope : You didn't have paints ? I thought you liked painting and tried it before
Chris : No no ! I love painting I just ran out of paints
Hope : Oh I see anyways let's begin ( ties her hair up )
Chris : Why are you doing that ? ( takes her bow off and wears it on his wrist ) you look better in open hair
Hope : Uhhh ..... it's because they get in my way ( forwards her hand towards Chris asking him to give her the ribbon back )
Chris : I'll take care of any hair that comes in your way ( smiles and grabs Hope's hand )
Hope : ( Quickly pulls her hand back ) No need
Chris : Hey you look kinda stressed is there anything bothering you
Hope : It's nothing
Chris : Hey we're friend now right ? If you don't share what's in your mind you won't be able to concentrate so you should relax first
Hope : ( thinks ) he said friends ...maybe I was over thinking he was just being kind I shouldn't judge him
Chris : What are you thinking ?
Hope : Nothing I'll tell you but promise me that this remains in between us okay
Chris : Don't worry I promise
( Hope tells Chris everything )
Chris : I see .... so in conclusion I can think of two possibilities , one that Adam is involved with his father's mafia and doesn't want you guys to get involved and get hurt
Hope : Marie said the same thing but what's the other possibility ?
Chris : Well don't get mad but his actions make it so obvious that he might be cheating on you
Hope : ( stands up ) What !? There is no way we love each other
Chris : Hey hey Calm down I told you not to get mad let's think about this again
Hope : I don't wanna
Chris : I know , I know it's difficult for you but atleast listen to me
Hope : I don't want to even think that way I know that there might be a one percent chance of him being involved in his father's mafia but cheating on me is something he can't even think of I trust him and he says he loves me a lot too
Chris : Well maybe that's because he is a sweet talker
Hope : What ? ( says with anger )
Chris : I .... I am so sorry I didn't mean to say that ... ok I take everything I said back let's sit down for a minute and start with our painting lesson
(Hope sits down seeing how desperate Chris is even though she wanted to go home )
( After half an hour )
Hope : And that's it for today, hope it helped
Chris : It did a lot thanks
( Adam comes from behind )
Adam : Hope you should've woke me up
Hope : Adam !? I am sorry I didn't want to disturb you
Adam : No it's fine next time do wake me up , anyways are you done let's go
Chris : Hi I am Chris and you might be Adam right ?
Adam : Yeah I'm Adam Hope's boyfriend ( sees Hope's ribbon on Chris' wrist ) Hope you go sit in the car I'll be there in a minute
Hope : Okay bye Chris
Chris : ( smiles ) Bye Hope
( Hope goes away and Adam grabs Chris' wrist and takes the ribbon off )
Adam : Listen here Chris I am gonna be very clear Hope is a kind and innocent girl that's why she is helping you and now you know she has a boyfriend so try to act more like friends because I don't want her to stop from meeting you she has made a friend after a very long time
Chris : ( pulls his wrist ) You are gonna stop her ? Well I am so sorry to say this but even though she is your girlfriend she is a human and has the right to decide and do stuff on her own you can't control her
Adam : It's not called controlling its called caring .....whatever I don't want to waste my time but from now on be careful because I won't be this polite next time
( Adam goes away )
Chris : Who do you think you are Adam First you ruined my life by reporting about my dad you had no clue that when you reported your dad to the police so many other people suffered . I was adopted by my shitty uncle whom everybody called my dad and now you think I am gonna let you live happily with the girl I liked when I was a child , even though she is stubborn but still I won't allow you to live happily I'll do whatever it takes to see you in a miserable condition. The pain I had to go through whenever my uncle used to snatch my toys and things given by my Dad to me and donate it to you guys in front of my eyes just to tease me was too just too much for me , I wasn't shy you jerks I was traumatized . I would've hated Hope too but she was the only person who returned my things secretly to me so I will never let someone who cared for me live in between you people
