It's been 6 months since she heard the most splendid news. A week after the exam.

Shim passed!

And was expected to report at the Voyage Royal International for her apprenticeship!
She's never been excited.

And it's enough reason for her cheerfulness everyday!

Not to mention the blowing up kiss to a stranger guy she bumped earlier this morning at the cafe. Hmm..

A handsome guy he was!

Wait. Was he?

Well, she really didn't get to see his face nor remember what he looked like because she was on cloud nine to care. Everything she saw and met that morning was a blur. She was just too happy with the news.

Who wouldn't be? When your dream was a step closer to reach!

Shimmer really need to give her thanks to the Almighty God for giving her such happiness in her life. It has been too long since she felt it again and now she couldn't find any place to stay put. So she decided to visit the church this time to pray and give her thanks.

After a moment of standing there outside the Church, shamefully deliberating whether she's allowed to enter or not, she finally came to the conclusion to swallow her ungrateful attitude and head to the very front of the church. After so many months of putting church aside, doing things first before it, she heartily asked forgiveness for how she was living her life by putting Church second after her responsibilities, now she was ashamed.

And guilty beyond limit.

It's not like she didn't pray, in fact, she does but she has not visit a church to pray for a long time. She always believe it was alright atleast she's constantly praying and giving thanks but right now, she really didn't know if she was right. How ungrateful she became after all these years of being blessed. And that she was not a hypocrite to simply deny it, no.

And she decided to visit the church every Sunday.

She then pour her very soul asking forgiveness to the heavens and giving her heart to give thanks.

Now she felt completely complete.

She realized when you put God the center of your life, everything that's impossible became possible and easy. Making your heart full and your soul lighter and your life happier.

Shimmer has good heart. She help people that need her help if she can. Those street kids were one of those who she had helped. Knowing they didn't have anyone to look after them..

And partly because she missed her two little darlings.

It was a sunny day. And sunny day means hot. So she stayed at her office, only went down to the cafeteria to eat lunch with Valerie. Shimmer was busy preparing all important papers she need to bring with her to the cruise.

She wondered why it took them 6 months for her to start her internship? As if they were processing Shimmer's papers. She already have gathered all her important papers filed up, passport included. Shimmer didn't understand what could be the reason but she didn't dwell on it further because she has more important pressing matters to take care of.

It was Friday and Valerie was waiting for her in the lobby. She and Valerie got close together since the first day they met, at Valerie's office nonetheless.

Yes.

Her boss and at the same time her close friend for the entire time she worked for her.

Just after lunch, Valerie went to her office, sat down in front of her, and sighed. Shimmer raised her brow looking at her friend. She knew whenever this woman came to the office as a boss or a friend, and by the looks of it she knew immediately she's her friend.
