9 |Unexpected Surprise|

Once in the safety of steady ground again, Lucas was anxious to meet this woman Zeke graciously told him on their way. Miss Shimmer Parks. He knew that she was something because she made his friend act like a lost little puppy, eager to get someone's attention and he know that only Miss Parks attention was all Zeke needed.

"His madly in love with the woman." He concluded. Of course! Who would take a week off of his life's routine just to see a woman whom he just met? Not to mention all those 'in another dimension thing' and the smiles he drew on his face completely oblivious of it? Lucas has been there. The feeling of being in love he had experience all of it when.. He shook his head. All those memories was now unwelcome in his mind.

Looking back at the man who just existed the jet and made his way to him, he opened the car door and wait for Zeke to settled in before he climbed in after him. Once inside, Zeke looked at him raised eyebrow, probably asking why he had just opened a car door for him.

"It's good to be a gentleman. You should try it sometime," with a wink Lucas grinned up at him. Zeke on the other hand was now wearing frown on his icy face.

"You think she would appreciate it if I do?" he asked Lukas who smiled broadly at this. Seriously? He had considered it? Is the mighty arctic man accepted his suggestion? It's a miracle! He was surprised at this.

"Of course! Who wouldn't be? I mean, I've met women before, Zeke, and they appreciate it when the guy is sweet and thoughtful," he replied seriously but the grin was still plastered on his face. The former nodded acknowledging Lucas' suggestion. He hoped that Ms. Parks would like that gesture.

He poked on Teb in his mind but the latter was still silent but he knew that the wolf was just trying to be calm and composed before he do something that they might regret later.

Driving through the throng of vehicles to the Suga Hotel and Casino, Zeke wondered where should he start looking for the woman. Straight to the building she stays in or at the coffee shop where she usually was. He almost forgot that had asked Ms. Hart to meet him at his office to give her instructions about his stay.

Arriving at the front of the hotel he owned, he surveyed the area before stepping out of the car and heading to the lobby of the hotel with Lucas in tow.

In the lobby was Ms. Hart waiting for him to arrive and was surprised to see that his PA was with him. She met him once when she went to Paris for the meeting Mr. Knight scheduled for her to meet and the latter did not notice her first so she approached the two gentleman to welcome them.

"Good day, Mr. Knight and Mr. Whites." Valerie acknowledged them both shaking their hands in greeting. Zeke just nodded his head while Lucas smiled at her.

"Good day to you too, Miss Hart. How nice to see you again," Lucas replied.

"Enough pleasantries for now. I have to get somewhere. If you follow me Miss Hart?" Zeke butted in from Lucas flirtation and asked Valerie to come to his office.

"Of course." She replied. Smiling professionally to Lucas who was about to say something to his boss but was unable to before she trailed behind Zeke towards his office.

"I'd be staying here for a week, Miss Hart. Do you have any place to recommend? I believe this country has ample of tourist spots that were popular among tourists. I've read some but I guess it would be nicer to hear it from the people who lived here." Zeke stated after sitting on the couch in the receiving area inside his office while motioning Valerie to take a seat and she did.

He did not come here to work. He had come here to relax, find time to know Miss Parks and probably know the woman better. But he still need to know what to do first before taking a step forward.
