Shimmer received a call from Voyage Royal International personnel, told her that in five days she was expected to be in the cruise on board. The cruise would leave the country in seven days. This gave her a few days to prepare and bid good byes to her family and friends before she depart for her apprenticeship journey across the ocean.

She was ecstatic!

It's almost a dream come true and it made her feel giddy. In five days, her dreams can come true.

Without wasting another hour, she booked a ticket to her home province while having a cup of hot chocolate in her favorite coffee shop in the city. Yes. The coffee shop that she visited when she arrived in the city, the day when she was about to take the exam to grab a cup of drink and croissant for breakfast before the exam. That day was still fresh in her mind about how easy the exam for her. Now, she was very grateful for having to passed the exam and other assessments she took.

When she have the ticket booked, she then made call at home letting them know she'll have a day to be with them before she depart and start her internship on board the cruise ship. She was happy and delighted to spill the good news to them.

"Love," Stephen answered his phone when he saw that Shimmer was calling.

"Hey. Free your day today and ready the kids. We're going out. I'm coming home." He can here the grin on her voice while she said those, he was surprised but it also made him frown a bit, "You're coming home? Why?, " he asked.

"Well, I have a day to spend it with you and the kids before I went on board." she replied happily.

"What? So that means that you're about to start your apprenticeship? That's great!" He said happily too. He knew how great that news was for Shim because finally she can go and achieve her dream.

"Yes! I'm so excited!" Shim squealed, unable to contain her excitement to herself. "I'll be there in the afternoon. I have 11 am flight today, it's the only available time they have though I want an 8 am flight." she added.

"That's fine. Aleast you have 2 hours most to prepare for the departure, " he said. "It's enough time for us to travel from here to the city. We'll see you there." he added.

"Yeah.. But I only have a few hours to be with you all. I have to return back here like right away," she said, realizing there wasn't enough time for her to spend with her kids. "But at least I can be with you before I'll be gone for i don't know how many long years, yet," she added.

"Hey, it's alright. We'll see you later?" Stephen said dismissing the sadness he note on Shim's voice. "Yes. I'll see you later guys. Love you. " She replied.

Shim took a deep breath. She felt sad because she would leave her daughters for long, at the same time, happy because finally she can finally travel through working in the cruise ship..

And she can now provide for them especially now that Sabrina started her classes two weeks now. It's not that Stephen can't provide for them but it was almost not enough for them. Sometimes, she can't help but let herself drift and imagine a good life having to let her daughters get what they wanted and needed.

That was one of the reasons why she also needed to have a position to work at the cruise ship. Not minding how would she missed her two darlings. Yet. The important thing she bear in her mind was to give them what they need and give them the convenient life they deserve.

Shimmer stood up after she finished her cup and headed to go out of the cafe.
She planned to grab few of her things to bring with her before going to the airport.

Zeke followed her out to where she was going.

After he saw her the other night, he had hoped he would see her one last time before he return back to New York City. Actually, his wolf demanded him to. It was restless the more days passed without having a glimpse of her. He was supposed to be in his office in New York to work on his current project but his beast stopped him, not that he didn't want to see her again but his business needs him.
