In life there were sudden turn of events. Sometimes you were ready. Making those sudden turns an opportunity to open new doors.

But most of the time you just find yourself crashing down to something new and foreign.. Or someone in Ezekiel Wolf Knight's case.

And the feeling he felt was new.

And foreign.

Yet familiar.

The feeling of something sprouting inside his chest breaking through the icy surface of his long forgotten feelings. It brings warmth to his core bringing back all the memories he had when he was a kid.

Love.

The love he once had for the people who brought his life on this cruel planet.

The love he once had felt when he was still running on the front yard of their house chasing after a little bunny surrounded by the people who loved him back.

His mother.
His father.
His older brother.

The love he had for them.

After hundreds of years being alive he thought he had forgotten the feeling. Burried deep in the ground just like his family.

It has been so many years. And he still loved them.

But this feeling he feels right now was different from the love he had for his family.

The feelings he has for Shimmer Parks.
The sprout of hope for the future she might bring to his life.

He loves her.

And he already admitted it.

To himself.

For now he settled in getting-to-know-her more stage. And he was going to make the most of his time being with her.

Standing by the couch in the hotel lobby was Shimmer. She was in a pair of blue tight jeans which hugged her thigh and accentuated her firm bottom. White loose shirt on top hiding her curves, the left side hem of her shirt was inserted in the left back pocket of the jeans she's wearing and her black long hair was up in a high ponytail as always. She's wearing a pair of worn out white converse.

Her back was facing Zeke as the latter just got out from the elevator. She looked so simple yet sexy. Zeke noticed her and was now inching closer to where Shimmer stood. He checked her out from her back while the latter didn't notice him yet.

God. She's hot in just her jeans and oversized shirt.

Shaking his head, he cleared his throat before Shimmer whirled around to face him. He noticed that something was hanging on her neck that settles just a little lower from her chest. A camera.

"Hi." she greeted simply.

"Hello." he greeted back. Both were staring at each other's eyes for a moment longer until they burst out laughing. Never in Zeke's life would he thought of laughing hard without so much humorous but just a very simple greeting. The feeling makes Zeke feels warm inside.

From the very woman he's starting to have feelings with.

This was new to him since he met Shimmer. She brought light with her presence illuminating his cold dark cave he called life.

The people in the lobby stopped their tracks turning their heads at the two people who laugh their heart out wondering what could have been the reason why they're laughing. The both of them didn't know why either.

"Hey stop!" Shimmer said holding her aching stomach to ease the pain she felt while laughing hard. Teary eyes crinkled in mirth. "Please.." she added still unable to stop her self back from shaking. Zeke only shook his head, took a deep breath and was now chuckling a little. Getting over with the laughter they shared.
