3x06: Mash-off

"Burt Hummel and his baboon heart, wrong on the issues, wrong for Ohio. I'm Sue Sylvester. I have a human heart and I approve this message" said Sue Sylvester in the ridiculous video she had made to discredit Burt Hummel, and that now Kurt was showing Blaine, Liv and Liam.

"A baboon heart? What the hell is wrong with that woman?" asked Liam shocked by what he had just seen as he and the others walked down the hall of McKinley High School. Liam, on the other hand, had only been at that school for a week, so he had no idea how many strange and inappropriate things there were at that school.

"Well, didn't she, like, marry herself last year?"frowned Blaine, and Kurt sighed exasperated and annoyed by the video that Sue had made against his father.

"Is this even legal?" asked Liam genuely concerned.

"Apparently" replied Kurt rolling his eyes.

"Well legal or not nobody's gonna really believe this, right?" Liv tried to reassure him because it was really absurd, who would believe that Burt Hummel really had the heart of a baboon?

"Well 20% of his voters do so..." Kurt replied defeated and frustrated. 

"Hey it's gonna be okay" Blaine whispered softly, trying to comfort him by caressing his back with one hand. Kurt turned to him and smiled softly at him then turned back to the others

"Okay now enough talking about that psychopath of Sue Sylvester- he said trying to change the subject- How was your first week at McKinley High, Liam?" Kurt asked him.

"School's smaller, classes are easier, and people are a little weird, but from what you and Liv told me, I thought it was worse and I still haven't been slushied, so that's a good sign, right?" Liam explained.

"That's because you didn't join Glee Club, when I joined the day after two idiots from the football team threw a slushie at me as soon as I got to school"  joked Liv and Liam looked at her a little worried while Blaine nodded as the same thing happened to him when he had moved from Dalton to McKinley.

"Okay that club really scares me, but- said Liam, then took a break noticing that both Kurt and his sister were looking at him hopefully and he immediately understood what they were hoping for- no guys I'm not joining the New Directions!" said exasperated Liam, while Kurt and Liv sighed disappointed.

"Wait you sing?" Blaine asked.

"No I'm not- he said, glancing at the other two who were about to counter the opposite- although these two when we were children forced me to sing in their little shows" explained bored Liam pointing Kurt and Liv

"Hey you weren't that bad!" exclaimed Liv trying to assert her opinion.

"Yes and then the New Directions would really need new members, given all the empty chairs in the singing room" sighed Kurt.

"Well I'm not- said Liam then he took a long dramatic break- but I am joining the football team"

"Haven't they closed the trials to enter in almost a month?" asked Blaine confused.

"Yes I know, but I already was in a football team back in Chicago and I was actually pretty good, I was the quaterback, so I think that maybe Coach Bieste will let me know if she'll talk to my old coach and will realise what a fantastic resource I would be for the team"

"Well let's hope Finn doesn't hate you the way he seems to hate me" muttered Blaine under his breath, gaining a simpathetic look from Kurt.

"Blaine, babe, Finn doesn't hate you okay" tried to cheer him up Kurt, although he himself could not deny that his brother had not been quite the best towards his boyfriend.
