It had been three weeks, three weeks since Liam had died, three weeks since Liv had had to learn to live without him, and no she wasn't okay, things hadn't returned to normal, but she was working on it.
"Are you sure you're ready to go back to school?- Kurt asked her as he, Liv and Blaine walked down the hallway- there would be nothing wrong if you wanted to take a few more days" continued looking at her with a worried look. After her breakdown with Kurt in the auditorium, Liv had started seeing a therapist and had taken almost two weeks off of school.
"Yes, Kurt- she sighed rolling her eyes- I have an appointment with doctor Altman this Thursday and staying home laying on the bed thinking about nothing but my dead brother is not gonna do me any good. I need to come back, be with you and do the thing that makes me the happiest: sing" she said.
"Okay- he nodded- but I'm here okay? For anything"
"Yeah I know- she said softly pacing an hand on his arm-but changing subject why is he so dark and twisty?" she asked turning toward Blaine, who still hadn't said a single word and seemed lost in his own world with a pained expression on his face.
"It's nothing, I just have a lot of my mind" he replied, Kurt and Liv looked at him frowning not believing him even a little, then Liv looked at Kurt knowing that he was the only one who could convince him to spit it out.
"Okay, let's say I believe you, but now I have to go, see you later at Glee" she said noticing Rachel at the end of the hallway while taking some books from her locker, she gave both of them an encouraging smile and squeezed Blaine's shoulder before walking toward her girlfriend.
"Hello gorgeous" she said leaning into the lockers while Rachel had turned her back and put her things in the locker.
"Hey- she smiled turning toward her- I didn't know you were coming back today otherwise I would've picked you up at your place" she continued leaning forward to kiss her on the lips.
"It's okay, it was a last minute decision, I couldn't stand staying home anymore and especially I couldn't stand staying away from you" she said kissing her again.
"Everything okay?" she asked taking her hand as the two of them started walking.
"Well my grandparents are on some sort of vacation to deal with their grief- she explained mimicking quotation marks to the word "grief"- like they ever really cared about Liam" she muttered under her breath.
"What about your mom?"
"Well we haven't spoken since Liam's funeral, but the good news is that she's leaving tomorrow so..." she started saying but then she stopped not really knowing what to say, thing with her mom had been really tense, the things she had said were awful and she was so mad, but at the end of the day she was still her mother and her inner child just wanted her mom to love her.
"Hey, it's okay, I'm here" Rachel whispered holding her hand tighter, Liv looked at her and smiled.
"I know and you have no idea of how grateful I am for that" she replied kissing her one last time before going to class.

"Lazy Idiots" that was what Sue had written as soon as all the kids had arrived in the choir room and taken their seats, and the only thing on Liv's mind was what was the woman who had done nothing but trying to destroy the Glee club doing there.
"Lazy Idiots- she started talking turning toward them and tossing the pen aside- your leader Will Schuester has informed me that my teaching methods are harsh and too extreme. So I've decided to show you what a real artist looks and acts like. Ladies and gays- she said opening her arms- as my gift to you, which you do not deserve, I give you Porcelain's famous brother-"
