Life goes on wether you like it or not, reason why you need to move on too, instead of getting stuck in the past and ruminate over what might have happened or what you could have done differently, you need to move on instead of thinking about what it was.
And Liv had done that, or at least she was trying after her brother's death, it had been hard, it still was, but she was trying because otherwise she wasn't sure she would ever be able to even survive. Sadly she couldn't say the same about her friends.
Whitney Houston had died almost two months earlier and yet Kurt, Mercedes, Rachel and Santana hadn't gone past that and they had even turned Kurt's locker in some sort of memorial for the late singer.
"Guys I hate to be the one to break it to you, but you seriously need to get over it- she said once she had arrived to Kurt's locker gaining a look from her friends, especially from Santana- I get it okay? Whitney was awesome and I adored her too, but it's been two months, you need to get over it"
"I really really wanna punch you in the mouth right now- Santana muttered sounding way too calm- or maybe I can show you how we people in Lima Heights Adjacent move on-" okay Liv had spoken way too soon.
"Okay Santana I've got this-Rachel intruded- Liv, sweetheart, I thought we talked about this and that you had understood how much grieving Whitney Houston meant to me, to us-she corrected- you know for the deep bond for that unites us, due to our great talent and our love for the show" Rachel explained with what Liv knew being fake composure.
"I thought that it was Barbra the one you felt a deep connection with because of your talent" Liv said annoyed by the ridiculous behaviour of her girlfriend.
"Yeah also- Rachel replied tilting her head- but Whitney is a star, like me, so you know between us stars we're always connected somehow"
"Yeah sure- Liv said not convinced at all and still thinking this was all ridiculous- I better go before I say something that may offend your grief, see you at Glee" Liv continued giving Rachel a kiss on her cheek before leaving, while the others were looking at her with strangely disappointed looks.

While they were all in the choir room waiting for Mr. Schue to arrive Mercedes and Rachel started arguing about some songs meanwhile poor Artie was stuck in the middle and Liv and Kurt, who were sitting behind them, rolled their eyes annoyed, this Whitney thing was really going out fo hand.
"It was written for Diana Ross" Mercedes stated.
"No. Mercedes, you are wrong okay?-Rachel argued- The Bodyguard was originally written for Barbra Streisand"
"Actually, Rachel, it was supposed to be Diana Ross- Mr. Schue intruded walking into the room- And Steve McQueen back in the '70s"
"Thank you Mr. Schue" Mercedes said a little too loud just to point out to Rachel that she was wrong.
"I've been doing some research to prepare for this week's lesson" he explained as he took out a marker and wrote Whitney's name on the whiteboard.
"Oh, my God yes. It's about time we do a Whitney tribute" Rachel said clapping her hands and Liv bowed her head defeated gaining a look from the former.
"Are we sure that's appropriate?" Sam asked.
"You did not just ask that" Mercedes argued pretty unnerved by the question.
"I just mean, didn't Whitney kind of have a lot of problems?" he tried to explain himself.
"She had a hard life, Sam. And?" Mercedes continued defending the singer.
