3x20: Prom-asaurus

It had been just over a week since Rachel's and Kurt's audition, the end of school was near and with it the prom, which was now at the door.

Things were going well between Liv and Rachel, the two had become clear and despite the failure of Rachel's audition, which had now marked Rachel's future at NYADA, the two were happy and especially in love.

"Are you sure you're okay?- Liv asked her girlfriend as the two girl were walking down the school hallway, headed to the choir room- I'd get that after everything that happened you wanna be alone, we could always ditch prom, you know? We could go to my place and have the night just for ourselves- Liv proposed then she leaned closer to Rachel's ear- I may have an idea or two of what we could do" she whispered the last part.

"You're very tempting but no- Rachel declined laughing and gently pulling Liv away- I'm surprisingly okay with it all. My dreams were always too big, almost unrealistic sometimes. It's almost a relief to be a part of the crowd- Rachel explained, but Liv wasn't convinced, not even one bit- My dreams are smaller now, even more realistic, first of them: prom. I'll never walk the red carpet as a Tony or Golden Globe nominee, so prom is my night to trip the light fantastic, this dress will be the most important gown I ever wear, next to the one I'll wear to our wedding of course" she added and Liv couldn't help but feel her heart beat faster at the thought of them getting married, even though she knew it was far far away.

"I'm sure you'll look gorgeous" Liv told her bringing Rachel's hand to her lips and kissing her knuckles, making her girlfriend smile.

"I may have lost NYADA, but I still have you- Rachel said caressing gently Liv's hand- so I'm not going to get everything I ever wanted- she chuckled- it doesn't make me a loser"

"Absolutely not- Liv agreed taking her hand- now come on we have glee"

Prom King and Queen nominees had been announced, Quinn, Santana, Finn and even Brittany, to everyone's surprise, had been nominated. Rachel hadn't been nominated, but she seemed pretty cool about it, Liv just assumed that not being nominated for Prom Queen was nothing compared to chocking the audition of a lifetime.

"Are you bummed that you didn't get nominated for prom queen?" Liv asked Rachel again, just to be sure, as the two of them were walking into the choir room.

"In what world would I ever be nominated for prom queen" Rachel replied chuckling.

"Well I voted for you and I got that strange kid of my math class to vote for you too"

"Very sweet of you, but I'm not upset at all- Rachel told her as the two girl were taking their usual seats in the room- because I'm gonna spend my entire prom night dancing with my devastatingly handsome girlfriend" and she kissed her softly on her lips and Liv smiled at her, a big bright smile full of love.

"Okay! Big congrats to all our proms nominees!- Mr. Schue exclaimed while entering the class, Liv turned toward Quinn, who was sitting next to her to high five- but, hey, listen up. We are all winners, because Principal Figgins asked New Directions to sing again this year!" Mr. Schue announced excited as if he were the one that was gonna sing and everyone started cheering. even though not everyone seemed very excited about it.

"Fantastic" Puck muttered, not so happy about it.

"All right- Mr. Schue gained back their attention- Brittany has an announcement" then he stepped aside to allow her to speak.

"Hello, my fellow Americans. The theme for this year's prom will be... Dinosaurs" she announced, leaving all the presents well...speechless.

"Sheer genius" Santana said proudly.
