It had been several weeks since Liv had told Rachel she loved her, she would have wanted to say that things had settled, but they weren't. The two had not spoken since that day and Liv had played a key role in all this since she had become an expert in hiding from Rachel.

"Did you know that NYADA has already started sending letters to its finalists? Of course I didn't get one, I have as much chance as getting into NYADA as playing Stanley in Streetcar" complained Kurt as the two of them walked toward their classroom.

"Kurt don't think like that, you-" Liv started saying trying to comfort him but stopped as soon as she saw Rachel at her locker a few meters from her, and without saying anything she took Kurt's arm and went the other direction.

"Liv what are you doing? Why are we-" asked not understanding what was happening, then he looked in the direction where Liv was looking before and understood, Rachel.

"Seriously? You two still haven't talked? Liv, it's been weeks you can't keep going on like this, you can't ignore her forever, I mean you're literally in the same club" told her Kurt while the two had started walking again towards their class, lengthening the route to avoid Rachel.

"I know okay? But what am I supposed to say? Hey Rachel, sorry for confessing my feelings for you out of the blue, feelings that you of course don't reciprocate and putting you in a shit position with Finn, your boyfriend Finn" snapped Liv annoyed, even though it wasn't Kurt the problem, it was her, because she wasn't the one who didn't have the courage to face Rachel after telling her she loved her.

"Liv..."

"I know, sorry for snapping at you, it's not your fault, it's just that now I really don't wanna talk about that, it's weeks that I think about nothing but that and I'm tired and also I really am not ready to face Rachel now, so can we please just let go?" sighed Liv defeated, she knew she had screwed up but she wasn't ready to deal with the consequences yet.

"Of course, we can but I'll be here okay? Whenever you're ready" Kurt nodded and Liv smiled at him grateful.

"Thanks" she whispered softly.

"Marry me" that's what everyone read on the whiteboard.

"Question mark!" added Mercedes.

"Yes. I'm proposing to Miss Pillsbury" announced Mr. Schue and everyone in the room started cheering, Liv hadn't been at McKinley that long but she had seen the two teachers acting around each other and it was obvious that the two of them were in love and Liv was happy that at least some people got to be happy with the person she loved, but obviously she wasn't one of those people.

"I know. I know- laughed the teacher happy for the kids' reaction- This is the kind of news you share with your family and you guys are my family" "

"Awww"

"Mr. Schue we're so happy for you" said Finn.

"We totally don't think you'll screw it up this time"added Quinn and Liv didn't really know if it was supposed to be an encouragement or not, bit it made Mr. Schue chuckle.

"Here's the thing. It's got to be perfect. I'm sitting down with Emma's parents to ask for permission and that's where you guys come in, okay?- explained Mr. Schue sitting down on a chair in front of them- so the assignment for the week is to come up with a proposal number. And you know Miss Pillsbury. It's got to be perfect"

"Well, you can count on us, Mr. Schue" Artie assured him so.

Liv was depressed, well maybe not really depressed, but something was definitely wrong: after performing that heartbreaking solo in the auditorium after confessing her feelings for Rachel she hadn't sung a single song, and harmonise in the background during Glee didn't count and it sucked. She loved singing it was her whole life, but she couldn't, not when the only thing she could think of singing were sad songs for Rachel and she wouldn't think of Rachel, because she loved her and Rachel didn't, because she missed her because it hurt.
