A week after prom everything came back to normal, the excitement was gone and now everyone's focus was Nationals, that was the only thing that mattered. Vocal Adrenaline had won Regionals, so they were gonna face them at Nationals, with them it was never a easy game, but ever since they had Unique, well... thing had gotten ever harder.

"And she had the courage to tell me and Mercedes that it was our fault if Vocal Adrenaline have Unique now, that we created a monster" Kurt complained to Liv as the two of them were standing at the girl's locker. Liv didn't say anything, she just knew that Kurt wouldn't listen, he still needed to finish complaining.

"We didn't do anything wrong, we just helped her find her true self and now Jess St.James, that asshole, is called a visionary, can you even believe that?" he continued and at that question Liv knew that he was ready to listen to her opinion.

"Kurt, first of all, I think you need to calm down- she started saying placing both of her hands on his shoulders- second, none of us thinks it's your fault, what you did was good and honourable, you helped someone who needed the courage to find herself, you did something good. Who cares if people are giving credit to Jesse, the important thing is that Unique gets to be herself now" she reassured him smiling softly at him, he smiled back at her for a moment, then his face was sad again. "What?" she asked not understanding what was the problem.

"Am I a bad person if I tell you that if I had known that Unique would've been so good, I would've never given her those heels. I basically signed our defeat!" God, that boy could be so dramatic.

"You did not sign anyone's defeat Kurt, stop it- she tried to make him reason, then she put her hands on his shoulders- second of all, you could always dress up as Porcellina if that is what you're so worried about" she laughed winking at him, Kurt turned red at her words.

"Liv stop it! You're not funny, at all" Kurt replied embarrassed, remembering the dress Sue had shown him in her office, the dress he was supposed to wear, putting Liv's hands gently off his shoulders, then the bell rang.

"You're a good person Kurt Hummel" Liv shouted to her best friend while heading toward her class, Kurt looked at her and smiled and asked himself how he would've been ever able to survive everything that life had put him through without her, then he thanked a God he didn't even believe in that he didn't have to.

Everyone was in the choir room, waiting for Mr. Schue and coach Sylvester, it still felt strange seeing the woman who had worked so hard to destroy them help them win Nationals, to start. Then Mr. Schue wrote the word that everyone had been preparing all year "Nationals, the enthusiasm was perceptible then the teacher started explaining what they were going to do.

"Okay, song selection. We'll be kicking off our "vintage" theme with the legendary Jim Steinman's "Paradise By The Dash Board Light"- he started explaining to the kids in front of him- Rachel will do the solo "It's All Com-" he continued for the happiness of Rachel, but the latter did not even give him time to finish saying the title of the song

"Coming Back To Me Now". One of Celion Dion's most powerful ballads, inspired by Wuthering Heights" she explained with the drama that characterized her, and Liv smiled at the passion and feeling that her girlfriend always put in all this, she knew how important the Glee club was for her, especially after her NYADA's audition.

"We'll be working in a new Troubletones number utilizing the talent of our features performer, Porcellina Hummel" Sue intruded pointing at Kurt, who rolled his eyes annoyed.

"Not gonna happen, dragon lady" her best friend replied, but that didn't seem to stop her.

"Oh, you'll do as you're told he/she- Sue replied not caring at all about Kurt's opinion on this then she continued explaining the Troubletones' number for Nationals- We will be performing "What A Feeling" from Flashdance and I'm familiar with the choreography, of course, because I was Jennifer Beals's dance double- she added as if anyone cared or believe that- And on that note, please look under your seats" the cheerleader coach instructed.
