Oscar stood in his room on the second floor of the barn house. Oscar stared at his bag that lay on his bed. He contemplated an idea that Ozpin, who resides in his conscious, gave him. After careful consideration, and so more persuading from Ozpin, Oscar decided to venture out. He packed the bag, then set out on the path Ozpin had him follow

Before leaving the grounds of the farm, Oscar took one last look back at the barn before readjusting his bag and continuing his trek. Along his journey, Oscar reached a forest in which Ozpin tried to break the silence between them

Ozpin: I'm sorry

Oscar: y'know... the weirdest part is how it feels. Leaving home is crazy. Going to the city is crazy. Everything you've told me is completely crazy. But it doesn't feel crazy anymore. It feels like I'm doing the right thing

Ozpin: well... I suppose that's good

Oscar: no. it's scary

Thunder struck in the skies above, causing Oscar to look up at the clouds above him. in anticipation of rain, Oscar picked up his pace to reach the train station. By the time he got there, the rain had picked up heavily. Oscar ran underneath the covers, completely out of breath. Oscar went to the pay station and placed his card over the scanner. Unfortunately, Oscar's card was declined due to his lack of money

Oscar: stupid thing. I'm assuming whatever weird magic this is doesn't come with an infinite supply of money?

Ozpin: I'm afraid you'll have to solve this one on your own-

Oscar realised Ozpin's sudden pause

Oscar: huh

Ozpin: be on your guard

Oscar straightened up and grew a worried face

Oscar: what do you mean?

Ozpin gave no answer, Oscar only heard distant footprints getting closer, then a deep voice

Hazel: here

Oscar turned to his left to see a large, tanned, bearded male who wore a long green jacket and black clothes underneath. Hazel stopped beside Oscar and raised his fist. Oscar braced for impact, only for Hazel to instead hit the top of the pay station. As Oscar looked back up, the pay station began to make buzzing sounds, then shot out a ticket onto the floor

Oscar bent down to pick it up and Hazel began to walk past him. Hazel walked out from underneath the cover and stopped to loom over his shoulder

Hazel: don't let such a small obstacle block your path

Lighting struck the ground a safe distance away from them, then the thunder followed. Leaving it to be the only sound, apart from the rain, heard after Hazel spoke. He said nothing more and continued to walk away. Oscar watched him closely from underneath the cover

Oscar: that man... I felt... who is he?

Ozpin: someone from my past. Someone who should not be taken lightly

A train arrived next to the station and their conversation was cut short. Oscar boarded the train once it stopped and moved to an empty carriage to privately talk with Ozpin

Oscar: so, are there any more people I should be careful around?

Ozpin: you'll find that you'll need to be weary around most people I know
