Four Beowolves approached a worn-out Cinder on the training grounds in Salem's castle. Each Beowolf closed in on Cinder as she continued to breath heavily. Then, with one powerful swing of her arm, a blade of fire was sent out. The fire cut all four Grimm in two with ease. The Beowolves dissipated, and Cinder dropped her head and shoulder from exhaustion

Cinder was then caught off guard by the stopping of a Beringels type Grimm. The Gorilla-like Grimm jumped high into the air, attempting to slam down on Cinder. Cinder reacted in time to gather fire in her hand and press it against the Beringels' stomach, killing it instantly. Cinder then fell down to her knees, unable to continue

Salem: enough

Salem stepped out onto the training grounds

Salem: I thought you were the girl that wanted power. Did you lie to me?!

Cinder looked over to Salem and shook her head

Salem: then stop holding back

Cinder nodded

Salem: if you wish to master your new powers, you must-

The doors open and cut off Salem. Walking through, was a whimpering and an injured Tyrian being dragged by the collar by Atiass. Atiass stopped in front of Salem and threw Tyrian to the ground, then folded his arms. Tyrian remained on his knees as he spoke

Atiass: Tyrian here wanted to speak with you

Tyrian: I'm sorry... she'll forgive me. pleeeease forgive me...

Salem: Tyrian! Your task... were you successful?

Tyrian: n-no

Salem's eyebrows folded inwards, showing her frustration

Atiass: useless. You shouldn't have sent him alone, I could've-

Salem: no! you need to prepare for something greater

Tyrian: m-my queen, hope is not lost! My tail, my stinger, I- I poisoned him, Qrow! He will not be a nuisance to you any longer, no... no longer. I've done that... H-h-have I done well? Have I pleased you?

Atiass: did you actually see him die? Or did you just assume the poison would kill him?

Tyrian: he- he will die! I'm sure of it!

Salem walked past them and towards the door as the two bickered

Atiass: so you assumed he's GOING to die?! Idiot! Don't you know that your petty little poison can be overcome? Never assume anything, know it! I swear you're ju-

Salem stopped and raised her hand and voice to silence them

Salem: that's enough, Atiass! Tyrian... the last eye is blinded... you disappoint me

Salem continued out of the training grounds, leaving everyone else behind. Tyrian fell onto his hands and began to sob loudly and uncontrollably. Atiass looked down on him once more, before leaving Tyrian behind as well

Atiass: hmph. Useless trash

A lone Beowolf began approaching Tyrian from behind as he continued to sob. The Beowolf lunged at Tyrian, who broke out in anger and used what was left of his tail to knock the Beowolf aside. Tyrian continued to sob as the Beowolf landed on its back. Tyrian then activated his wrist blades and jumped onto the Beowolf
