“GOOD MORNING CLASS!” I grinned.

Killian rolled his eyes but eventually greeted me which is a surprise. I raised my brows, what’s up with him?

“How’s your weekend? Hmm?” as I set up my laptop. We will be having a test today.

“It’s good!”

“We went to my grandparents!”

“We cooked our favorite meal!”

Kaniya-kaniyang share nila. I smiled, good.

“How about you, Mr. Falcon?”

“The usual, nothing special.”

Bagama’t naka poker face siya, I can sense the sadness in his voice. Must've been a tough weekend.

“Well anyway, as I announced last week, we will be having a test today.”

Napailing ako, “Get one half cross wise, we will be having a long test containing our discussion last week.”

“Alright, let’s start. Number 1.”

Makaraan ang ilang sandali, “Number 5.”

“Number 32”

“Number 40”

“Number 50.”

“Now, for 50 points, write an essay. How does philosophical and anthropological perspectives best facilitate your understanding about yourself?” panghuling tanong ko. “I’ll be giving you 10 minutes to make it, this may take 3 paragraphs with 5 sentences each.”

Hala shuta, wala nga akong sagot sa 1-50, may pahabol pa!”

All by myself~”

“Ma’am what if itapon ko na lang ‘to?”

“Tapos what if ikaw ang itapon ni ma’am?”

Bulongan na rinig ko naman. Hindi ko na lang sila inalintana. Hindi sinasadyang mapatingin ako kay Killian, he’s so serious making it.

Hmm, I wonder...

“TIMES UP, FINISHED OR NOT, PASS YOUR PAPERS,” I announced.

Umiling ako, nako talaga ‘tong mga batang ‘to.
