*one month later*

Ana's leg is almost healed. She can walk on it somewhat but she's excited about not having to use crutches.

"Looks like you are healing well and fast. Good thing. Which also means that you can start to put weight on it. Dr. Martt said.
"Really?" Luci smiled excitedly.
"Yes, Luci you can but you have to listen your body, if your leg is telling you that it's tired or hurts you must stop."
"And Eddie you make sure that she listens to it and check in on her like a hawk."
"Yes sir. I'll report it back to Robin and Dustin."
"He's a funny guy. I like him."
"Me too."
"Alright well, I'll see you in a couple of weeks just so see your progress with the added weight then hopefully you never see me in this situation again."
"Definitely. Thank you."
"Take care."

The day was slow considering there was good news.

"Does it hurt?" The three asked.
"No, for the past hour and half."
I know it comes from love but, am I the asshole for not wanting them to ask so much?
"I'm sorry, I don't mean to sound rude and ungrateful."
"Oh it's okay, I think we can agree that we have been hovering right?"Robin said.
Dustin ,Eddie and Robin agreed.

As they parted ways to their classes Luci had to get books for her next classes. She closes her locker and see Eddie smiling at her.
"Hi Lu."
"Hi Eds."
"Let me take those,"he motioned to the books in her arm.

"Okay." She say drawing the 'y'.

"Hey Luci!"
They both turn around and see Chrissy catching up with them. "Oh good since you're both here."
"What's up?"
"A double date on Friday?"
"Uh-"
"Good! I'll call you with the details! See ya!"
"What just happened?" She asked as the continued to walk to class.
"No idea. Guess we're going on a double date with them?"
"I guess so."

Luci and Eddie walked in class together and somehow no one look in their way. Their attention was on Chrissy and Miles. Luci couldn't be happier for them. She knew Chrissy since middle school and Miles only this year but she's happy that Chrissy is with a good guy and Miles has the girl of his dreams. She ponders what Chrissy has planned for the double date.

A movie? There's a mini golf course in the next town. Eddie and I haven't been on a date, lots of stuff happened. Something with him,the traditional trip, and the accident. I wonder what it was. Why he was distant during that week. He seemed okay at Christmas dinner. But after he got weird and distant.

Luci and Eddie lay in bed and he said, "I haven't taken you out for our first date."
"You want to do that?"
"Yeah I'm sorry I don't know why we haven't."
"Or I haven't" he corrected himself.
"Oh it's okay, really."
"I'm still sorry."
"It's okay Eds,"she said holding his hand reassuringly. 
Eddie gives her a peck on the lips, "I love you Lu."
"I love you Eds."
"By the way, I noticed you wore my flannel shirt today."
"Oh this?"she said cluelessly.
"Yes," he said as he crawled over to her.
She crawled backwards til she was up against her headboard. "You look good in my clothes honey."
Her cheeks turned bright red, "Why thank you does that mean I can wear more?"
"Yes, babe" he said as he kissed her.
