Part 2 of double date night

Eddie and Luci both wave goodbye to Chrissy and Miles as Chrissy runs behind Miles and jump on him for a piggyback. Chrissy turns, " I had so much fun! Thank you!"
Luci shouts to her, "You planned it !" and laughs.
"Thank you Chrissy!"
Chrissy waves again as they walk into Miles' house.
Eddie pulls from the driveway and drives away to Luci's. The drive was quiet except the radio playing. Eddie reaches for her hand which Luci takes hers in his. It was nice just the two of them, the music softly playing and Eddie's hum to the song it was soothing to Luci. She was already looking at the yellow garage door since it was a short ride from her house to Miles'. Eddie opens the door for her, and they both walk hand in hand to the door. They both turn to each other, "I want-"
"I want-"
"Sorry, Luci chuckled, "You go."
"I wanna explain why I disappeared back in December ."
Luci nods for him to continue. "It was because of my parents. Christmastime,and the month of December isn't the best time. They died in car accident the day after Christmas Day. I usually go to the cemetery and talk to them. I would hangout at the plant with Wayne. Or he would have a day off and spend the day with me."

Luci had no idea what to say except but I'm sorry. "Don't worry about it. It still kinda stings little."
"Of course it's your parents."
Luci pulls him into a hug, "Im sorry you went through that alone."
Eddie kisses her cheek, "Thank you Clover." he pulls away but has his hands on her hips, his eyes darting back and forth to her lips and eyes . Luci notices Eddie's eyes and nods, which he pulls in for a soft kiss. He pulls away and smiles at her, "Was I that obvious?"
Luci laughs, "Yes."
Luci unlocks the door  and see both Max and Robin passed out on the couch with the tv on while credits play from the screen.
Luci quietly picks up their mess, Luci and Eddie pick up the coffee table and move it up against a wall. Luci walks to her closet and gets an air mattress. She quietly inflates the bed which Max stirs in her sleep and starts to rub her eyes.
"Hey, you're back."she said sleepily.
"Hi, Max you wanna take the air mattress?"
Luci motions Eddie to the hallway closet for sheets,pillow and blanket. Luci makes the bed for her and Max thanks her as she lays on the bed going back to sleep. Luci lays a blanket over Robin as she pulls up to her chin, and mumbles out, "Thanks Ana."
Luci silently laughs as she and Eddie walk to her room. Luci removes her makeup from her face and changes into her pajamas. Eddie is already in bed reading his book and looks up at her and gives a smile as he closes the book. Luci giggles as she climbs into bed, Eddie snuggles to her and pecks kisses on her face and neck. Luci starts to giggle as he kisses her neck which Eddie does it more and causes her to laugh. She quickly covers her mouth and stifles a laugh.
"Did I tell you how pretty you looked tonight?"
"Yes,plenty of times"she chuckles.
"Let's go to asleep."
