A hero, alright.

A hero who doesn't look happy, not from any angle. He seems rather pissed off.

Uh uh.

Romero strides toward me as though he is going for a war. His lips pressed into a thin line, I'm sure suppressing not pretty kind of French in there and his eyes are narrowed into a slit.

They are glaring me.

Now what did I do?

Does he know?

I shake head immediately.

No, no.

He can't possibly know about that. I haven't told anyone anything, heck I have even controlled my thoughts so it would not travel to that. Most importantly I haven't done anything regarding that matter yet. So no.

He doesn't know.

But then why?

Maybe he is not angry at me. Maybe something else happened.

Yeah, probably.

"Hi baby, look what I got-"

"Quite, lady."

Oh, no, no, no.

He did not, did he?

"Excuse-"

He is on me before I could finish what I want to say. His hands wander all over me as if seeking any sign of injury which is ridiculous. I try to step back but he only tightens his hold and continues with his inspection for God knows what.

"Rom, what are you-"

He cuts me off once more.

Honestly it's getting frustrating now.

"What the hell are you thinking, Ray? Why didn't you tell me you were coming?And where the fuck is Paul? He is supposed to be with you all the damn time-"

"Wait," This time I interrupt him, "You are angry at me? Because I came here?"

He is being impossible.

A nerve of his cheek visibly ticks, and if possible he narrows his eyes further, "What do you think?" He snaps, before closing his eyes and releasing a breath. When he speaks again his voice is a bit controlled but nowhere near calm, "You damn well know you shouldn't go anywhere without me. And even if you want to go somewhere atleast inform me and take Paul with you.  We don't know what kind of crazy bastard is after you and yet you do something like this. He could be anywhere, he could be watching you as we speak. Why don't you get it?"

Really?

I get that he is worried about that and I am too but we can't let it control our life. Whoever that person is, he doesn't get to rule my life. I can't and I won't let his dark shadow doom our life.

I will not.

"Romero you are being absurd. That man is a shadow we need to remove from our life, not fear it. And Paul is just-"

"Absurd?! I'm being absurd? You have no idea how dangerous an unhinged person like that can be. Seriously Ray, how could you be so stupid! "

Well, if he wanted to match our vibe, he is quite successful.

I look around us to find everyone watching us. They are not even being subtle and honestly I don't blame them, if their employer loves to create scene in front of them then they should at least show their interest to it if not their love.
