Akira
----------Following the warm lighted hallway I roundabout to our bedroom, pausing at the scene and silently lean against the doorframe to watch the love of my life get dressed for his special day.
"Are you going to just stand there and watch me?" He asks without turning.
"Yeah I think so. You know I love watching you get dressed."
But not more than him getting undressed, for me.
His eyes meet mine in the mirror and he lifts a brow, "Come here, baby. Help me out with this damn tie."
"Language," I remind him but still glide toward him as if pulled by some thread.
"Shit, I mean crap."
I grin reaching for the tie, "Relax, they are not here."
"Thank fuck."
"Rom!"
He shrugs innocently, "What?"
Resigned, I shake my head, working around the tie, "You know what."
"No, I don't."
"Romero, we talked about-"
"Shh," His arms move around my waist and he tugs me to his body, shutting me up effectively. "Did I tell you how beautiful you look today?"
I roll my eyes, but internally I melt, "Only a few hundred times."
"That's too little. Let me make it up to you."
"How are you going to do that?"
"Like this," He dips his head and kisses the sensitive spot on my neck, leaving goosebumps in its wake, "You look beautiful, wife."
No.
Focus, Ira.
"Rom, we need-"
I loose the trail of my thought when his lips move further down.
What exactly did I need to focus on?
Can't think, really.
"So fucking responsive, kissing you is like an addicting drug, taking me to a different level of high." His palm travel south on my back, my legs tremble with the need.
More.
"So delicious, I could eat you whole day and still not get enough."
Yeah
Need more.
"Why would you eat mom?"
We freeze.
The silence that follows is louder than a speaker.
"Daddy?"
Romero pulls back a little, alarmed filled eyes question me as if asking, 'what now?'
I shrug, as innocently he did earlier.
Yeah this one is all on him.
"Are they still hugging and kissing?" Comes a second voice of our six year old daughter.
"Yes, they are still hugging." Her twin brother replies.
"Eww!" She sounds absolutely disgusted.
Excuse me?
"Did our daughter just called us eww?" Romero makes his voice appalled.
"I love you, daddy." She is quick to pacify him though.
