I spin around, almost dropping the bracelet from the box.

"Sydney!" I cry out, placing a hand on chest.

She just glares me.

Taking a deep breath, I urge my heart beat to calm down, "You scared the hell out of me. What are you doing here?"

She crosses her arm and tries to look intimidating the only way she can, "What am I doing here?"

"Well yeah." I look around, trying to recall if I have missed something.

"Okay so firstly, your boyfriend, King, who actually think of himself as the bloody King, comes and takes you from our room like a caveman he actually is. Then I, being a worried friend, call you and  the same caveman answers telling me to mind my business and to not disturb you because you were drunk of your mind.

"Then out of nowhere I get a single but fucking hell lotta puzzling text and I again call you but you don't answer. Just few minutes after that there is this bunch of people to take your things because out of nowhere you're moving in with your boyfriend without even informing me. I call you again but guess what? You don't fucking answer!" She is breathing hard by the time she stops speaking.

My heart sinks as soon I realise she is right. Between Romero, Dante's visit and then everything with Slade, I completely forgot to inform Syd about my whereabouts and about my sudden decision moving out.

"Syd, I'm sorry. You're right. Honey, I'm really sorry. It just slipped my mind to inform you that I'm moving in with Rom." I take few Stephanie toward her.

"This is not just about you being my roommate, Ira. I was worried. There is some psycho cat killer stalking you and when I try to contact you I don't get answer, it's frustrating." Exclaiming, she throws her arm up.

"I know, I should have called you. I'm sorry. I can't apologize enough." I try to make my puppy eyes that always works on Bella and Logan.

She huffs before sighing, "You better have a good reason and I'm listening."

I hide my smile, "Reason, yeah okay. So I thought Rom had new girlfriend-"

Syd scoffs, "Are you serious? That guy doesn't even bothers to look at other female, one might think he swings the other side."

This time I smile.

Yeah that's Romero.

"So I got drunk, did some really stupid things. This morning we talked, it turned out we never broke up "officially". Then Dante came with some bimbos to make Romero feel better. After that we went to eat, there I thought of mending things between Rom and Slade. They threw some punches and at the end they both went to gym, together."

"So I'm guessing Slade would stop moping around now. The guy was depressing to watch. I haven't seen him properly for a month. Dad's Fiftieth birthday is this Sunday so I think he must busy with meetings and all the preparation."
