Beomgyu ran a hand through his hair as he opened the windows.
Luna watched him from the bar as she tapped her hand on the table.
He turned to look at her making her look away.
Beomgyu smiled softly as he finished moving the curtains.
"Pretty Luna, do I look extra princely today that I have the pleasure to have your lovely chocolate eyes on me?" He joked as he walked over to her, leaning against the bar.
Luna looked at him and gave him a small smile. "No, you look like you haven't had a bath in three days."
"I bathed this morning but if you think I haven't, would you like to help?" He smirked making Luna roll her eyes.
He noticed that she wasn't in the mood to joke too much with him and watched her in concern.
"Beomgyu, there's posters-"
"Of me. I know. I saw them." He nodded his head as he stared at her.
Her eyes widened and she looked up at him.
"The older ladies showed me. They said, 'You look an awful lot like the lost prince'." He spoke with a small smile.
Luna looked back down at the table and played with her fingers. "I will miss you." Her voice broke a little making him raise his eyebrows.
The response that he didn't get a few nights before had come out of her in the most unexpected moment.
Beomgyu made his way around the bar and wrapped his arms around her from behind, pulling her towards his chest.
Luna continued playing with her hands as he placed a soft kiss to her temple.
"Thank you."
"Why are you acting like I'm leaving now?" He whispered in her ear making her close her eyes.
"Because you will soon." She said quietly. "They already know you're here."
They stayed in silence for a few minutes as Luna resisted the urge to lock all the windows and doors and hide him from the entire world.
"I should go first before they come."
"What?" Luna asked as she furrowed her eyebrows, turning to look at him.
"I should go ba-"
"Sure. Why not? Go ahead." Luna said as she shrugged her shoulders. "Leave."
Beomgyu stared at her as she looked up into his eyes, tears starting to weld up as she held onto his shirt.
"Luna-"
"Go."
"I don't want to leave you here."
"You can leave. I've been on my own for a long time, it's not like I'm going to die as soon as you go. I was doing fine before you came here. I can take care of myself. I am just as independent as when you met me. I can be by myself, Beomgyu. I don't need you here." She rambled as he caressed her head, her grip still tight on his shirt.
He placed a soft kiss on her forehead and pulled her into a hug.
Her tears started to soak his shirt as she wrapped her arms around him tightly.
"I know you don't want me to go-"
Loud knocks interrupted Beomgyu, making them turn their heads towards the door.
"They're here." Luna said in fake calmness making Beomgyu look at her as she walked over to the door to open it.
Just as she expected, guards were at her door.
